Fixed voltage regulated non-variable PVs are nothing new. The original Joye 510 small cig-like sticks and original Joye eGos are regulated, fixed voltage devices. They are nothing "like a mech". Why would anyone classify a device as a "regulated mech" when there never was any such thing. Just because a device is not a variable output does not make it "like a mech". Sheesh.
