my thoughts are:
the CFIV does not compare to the VF Lite - IMO
Sorry, I was thinking about the 18650 CF, not the CF4 (which I also got on sale some time ago and I happen to love).

yepper, REALLY curious of the price of the new CFIV 18650
it is mostly that darn 2000 battery that sour'd me...
Just FYI from the Avail website:Yeah, can't decide between those two. I'll probably get one of each.
Top of my list.
AVAIL is currently unable to ship to the following states:
- California
- Massachusetts
- Hawaii
- Texas
- New York
Just FYI from the Avail website:
Looks like we're both SOL on the $39 Vaporflask Lite. (Yeah, I was STILL considering it notwithstanding the tiny screen)

Wish I knew...Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???? Why?

Not "new" taxes. Your regular State sales tax. Don't you guys pay something like 8% in sales tax every time you buy things (like groceries or whatever)? I think there's a big battle over the collection of such taxes on online sales. I think some companies (Apple for example) collect Hawaii "excise" taxes on sales of items from their online stores.I don't see why in CA--the new state tobacco laws go into effect on June 9th, and nobody really knows what will happen, other than the new age limit (they raised it to 21). No new taxes have been approved yet.
I think Avail is overreacting.
Isn't CA fighting with Amazon over that?
So if Amazon has to collect the tax and remit same to CA, don't other online vendors have to do the same? Which means record keeping, probably a separate deposit account for each affected State, regular submission documents, tax reports to the Feds, CA and VA, etc... All I'm suggesting is that perhaps Avail just decided that they just didn't want to bother with all that and elected to not sell to people in those states. No sales = no collection problems. <shrug>.I think it's been settles a long time ago--I pay CA taxes when I shop on Amazon. I also pay my state sales taxes when I buy vaping products from CA businesses--but not from out of state vendors.

Yeah, can't decide between those two. I'll probably get one of each.

You must be out of breath typing all of that stuff.
