Hello @DPLongo22, CFIV as my first VW/TC it is! Shopping now to see if I can find a 'kit' to order ASAP! :w00t: Found this one at MyVaporStore, can anyone vouch for them?

I do a lot of shopping from MVS. You might want to look at this CF IV which uses replaceable 18650 batteries. Innokin Coolfire IV 75W Temperature Control 18650 Starter KitIt's a good way of future proofing yourself. I have it and am quite happy with it. I did not get it with the kit tank, so I can't comment on that, but it's been fine with all the other tanks I have. Just remember you'll need an external battery charger as well (there's a nice little 2 cell Nitecore charger in the clearance section of Provape for $7 that I have and has been fine).

Hi again, Delightful.

Blister packers and Tootle Puffers, yeppers! Even the language has changed (and you are more than welcome to blame me for some of that).

You'll be fine with making coils once you really FEEL like going in the direction. There's no rush right this second, but do give it a bit of thought, and I'd watch plenty of videos. Remember, dahlink, there WAS a day that we didn't know how to fill a karto....... ;)

Once you find a tank or two you like, you'll prolly enjoy trying out different coils. Since I still "Tootle Puff", I typically stay in the 1.2 to 1.8 range for my tanks. And since I do not subohm, cloud, or anything close to it, I can vape happily with much higher mg. strengths. (I use 15ish now) I've never found a need to cut the nic (in half or any amount) vaping the way I do. I also don't care for airy hits.

The CF4 you posted is quite nice. The one that DPL and I are getting is a newer version that allows for a replaceable 18650 battery. It's a bit smaller and more hand comfy, and takes it design from the original Cool Fire 4.

Here it is:

Genuine Cool Fire IV(4) TC-18650 Express kit 75W with Authentication Code

I forgot to mention @Delilah718 that I have spent a lot of money at MYVAPORSTORE. No worries with them.

Also, I want to mention again and again...do not buy anything with an internal battery. Once the battery dies your mod is toast. ;)

There are a lot of good people here that can answer any question you may have so don't be shy. :D

Remember, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. ;)

Which coil gives a warmer vape, the 1.0 ohm or .5 ohm?

This is a tricky question. Generally speaking, single coil atties generate a bit more warmth--long story.

More generally speaking, there are two basic ways of vaping--Mouth To Lung (MTL)--low wattage (higher resistance wire), less airflow, higher nic content; and Direct Lung (DL)--high wattage (low resistance wire), tons of air, clouds of vapor, less nic. Try both and see which one you prefer. Both Kanger Subtank mini and Joyetech Ego One will let you try both ways--MTL and DL.

I'll second that. Excellent service, and I've never had a problem with an order. I once had an item I ordered on a Sunday night, only to receive an email Monday morning that they were actually out of stock (black Pico). Emailed them back and changed to silver which was available (and I really like), they made sure the order still shipped on time the same day, and I had it Tuesday (they're based in NY so I don't even have to pay for express delivery, the range is automatically next day by UPS for me).

I've gotten the Pico, a Plato AIO, and the CF IV all from them, as well as assorted tanks and stuff, and not a single issue working with them.

Sound advice, from many of us! Barring court injunctions - which, imo, are not liable to happen in time if they happen at all - the deeming takes effect on Aug. 8. While that won't take things off the market for up to two years, there won't be anything new, and supplies / replacements may become scarce. So having mods that use a separate battery may well be the difference between vaping and not. Built-ins, yup, when the battery dies, as they all will in time, it's a paper weight.

Hi @Woofer, Blister-packers?! So if I get premade coils I'm a Tootle puffing blister packer! Sounds tough! NOT! HEEEEEHEEEEEEEEE!

Indeed you will be a TPBP. <nods> :D (and in good company)

Resistance is not that important with regulated mods. Keep the coils you have and start at 5 (pretty low) to 7 watts and go up from there until you find a happy place.

I will blame you for all of the language changes, who said life is fair. ;)

I expect some of my x girlfriends have a different opinion.
