Ok my LS from (doots) came in about 15 minutes after my last post. She included two sets of batteries with one set in the unit ready to go. All I can say is WOW the difference between 3.7 and 6 is amazing. I put a standard 510 cartomizer on it with MsTs Peppermint Hot Chocolate and it’s so totally different at 4.5 then on my standard Ego batteries. I put the LS on the Volt meter and you can see the change in volts as you turn the dial.

Now to do some testing over the next few days and ill report :vapor:

LOL...

I offer sympathy. ;)

MXBNW do you have a special rig to check the voltage on your LS? I have a multi-meter but have no idea how to set it up to read voltage under load.

Well truth is told I also received a Buzz today as well. And ordered this with it. Voltage Adapter

It screws it in to the 510 connect the positive and negative and set it to V20 and push the button on your mod. Works on all my batteries and mods.
(I sent a HR playing with it)

But if you set your Volt meter to V20 and put the positive in the center of the atty Connector on the LS and touch the negative to the threads you should be able to read the voltage output.

But found this on a video review that some may won’t to look in to. Looks like it will work. JOKER-DVM

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I've seen the Joker-DVM but didn't know about the other one. Helps a lot! :)

Hi, I asked this question in the other thread, but I might as well ask it here. So sorry for posting the same thing in two separate threads.

I like the idea of a small variable-voltage mod, but I have my doubts about the batteries. Has anyone here tried to use the high drain batteries and if so, what were the results?

I have an email in to Ken (I ordered more batteries) I will ask him what he thinks. I got the Trust Fire TR10440 600Mah 3.7v with this unit. And that is what Ken is selling on his site.

Katya I'm getting 2-3 hours out of each set (even the cheapy unprotected 320mAh ones I got from China with my Joye Sticks) and I'm a VERY heaver user.

Besides, do they even make high drain 10440's?

Thanks. I just learned that CoV carries the high drain version. Please let us know what Ken thinks.

I noticed that the IMR’s 350 mAh 3.7v are a little shorter than the Trust Fire
Well I just popped a set of the IMR 350mAh and they work. We will see just how long they will last.

You're very welcome MX. Enjoy it. The IMRs give a little boost when used in the LS IMO.

they last a long time. I dont know if they last as long as the trustfires do.
the 600 Mah might be overrated like other trustfires. The IMR 350s might be truer to what they really are.. lol
