I see this more and more. This seems to be due to over-tightening. Your center pin might have bit down past the gasket.

Always use a 510-EGO and tighten devices just to connectivity.

The gasket did pop out. i put it back in. I have connected several different tanks to it and still get same reading. The resistance check is good on all of them but won't fire and get Lo on display still.

I've only seen this on a super low res tank. I wrapped a coil at about .6 ohms, and it read lo every time I tried to fire it.

Maybe switching between modes? I honestly don't know what might cause this, but that might reset something for you.

Between VW and VV? I've tried that. went from RMS to AVG. tried one 18350 battery, 2 18350 batteries. one 18650 battery. Tried different tanks, from a DCT to vivi nova and a kanger. let it sit over night and then tried again. Just bought this thing on Monday too. got if from a B & M store but they have no refund/exchange policy. They only open 4 days a week. Going to go up there tomorrow and see if there is anything that they will do.

I know this is an older thread but i am experiencing this same problem and I think it has something to I with the spring on the cap. It i stretch the spring out it seems to work. I do have the gold spring but it gets squished or something when I have to change the battery. I need to find a better quality spring. Anyone know where I can buy one?

i got mine at smoktek and it works perfectly...it is a little loose but dosent fall out unless you pull it or bump it while changing the battery. here is the link. Replacement cap for the Chrome Vamo APV - redesigned for proper fit in short mode. Includes new gold spring.

The one time I had constant LO warnings, or turning itself off, it was the contact being pushed in from over tightening an atty. I pried it up just a bit with a paperclip and all was fine again. It's SUPER easy to push the contact into the gasket and not really noticeable with a visual inspection.

Is this something you did inside the mod body or on top??
