I just sent this to the city manager of Columbia, Mo. I am not as good at writing as some of you on here but I think they will get my message.Tell me what you all think.
To whom it may concern: I am writing to you on the matters of Vaping and 18 year olds being able to purchase tobacco products. What you are basically saying is that a child 18 years old or older does not have the mental capabilities to make a decision about whether or not they want to start using tobacco products. Yet you will send them to a war so they can defend our country while being shot at and blown up by people who would likely take our freedoms away from us. So in all due respect are you not taking their freedoms from them in the same manner that we would send them to another country to fight a war.
What this all boils down to is not to save the children but tax revenues which you all deem more important than life itself. This whole notion to ban Vaping so as to protect combustible tobacco products is nothing but a farce. I smoked combustible cigarettes for 48 years I know what a real addiction they can be and how deadly they are. I have had 2 heart attacks and 4 stents. The only way that allowed me to beat the addiction was Vaping for I tried all the NRT’s which do not work. December 2015 I will be one year of being combustible smoke free Vaping does work and with little effort. You people should be giving this product out free to all smokers and eliminate combustible tobacco products completely. This is the only way to really defeat the one killer of millions of people world wide combustible cigarettes.
Thank you,
Richard #$%@
