or have they always had a lock system ? i may have a defect ???
or is a new bottom assembly available for repair or replacement ????

i love the size and they way it performs but ill leave it at home if i cant make it safe to carry

you never know he may come out with the same locking button with the slim button... but yea like vapen said just unscrew about 3-4 turns and you should be good to go. One way to test is to start out by unscrewing it 3 to 4 turns then try to start vaping and at the same time start unscrewing the button slowly until you get no vapor.

I have to unscrew mine till it practically falls off. Is that normal? What I just do is disassemble it because it goes off otherwise.

Do you use protected or unprotect 10440 batteries? reason is the so called protected 10440 batteries are longer so this could cause you to have to pull the whole button off. or you may have a post (button) that is slightly longer so it could reach the battery. Remember the GG slim was not meant to have a locking switch... but most will have the option to unscrew the button a little to not allow contact. I hope this helps :)

I use unprotected batteries. Just bought some protected ones and they don't fit.

Hi sweety. The slim's button has 8 threads so you have to make 7 full 360 degrees rounds to make it fall. If you make 3-4 full rounds then the contact is lost and the button is still 3-4 threads inside the Slim so I dont see how it can fall down:)
