Thought I was able to score a router tip, so close yet so far away... I was even able to check out.. but my order was refunded :-(

The tips sold out by the time I noticed the in stock email and completed my checkout ~8 min....

Have to be quicker next time...

Anyone have any suggestion on what might have gone wrong with one of my BFs Odins? My first Odin is suddenly problematic and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. Never had a single problem with it then suddenly things just aren't right. When I put it on my ohm reader without a build the reading flashes.. it didn't do that before. When I have a build on it the reading is steady, but my build seem kind loose no matter how tight I screw them down and I'm getting hot legs. It'll last only a couple hours before one of the coils is dead. This has happened maybe 10 times in a row

Now I know what you're going to say, but I'm pretty sure my builds themselves are fine. I'm not doing anything different than I've done before and my builds on my second Odin work flawlessly.

Could I have somehow fried it (there was no notable event) or could I possibly need new screws or something? Has anyone else experienced this before? Could I have done some kind of permanent damage? Visually it looks OK from what I can tell.

I am not complaining or blaming Loki by any means, I knows this is something I caused somehow and I'm just looking for some wisdom.

I have absolutely no way of knowing what's wrong with it but if you send it to me, I'll give it a once over replace the post and the insulator free of charge. :)

That's how Craig works, he sells a product and completely backs it up 100%

He offered to replace my insulator and post cause mine was ever so slightly crooked. I said it has worked fine and gave me no trouble but he helps you out and backs everything up times 2!

You are the true business man Craig!

Y'all take care and Craig, waiting on that small diameter atty you were talking about!

A question for Craig: I really dig your router tips, but the builds that i use get the tip pretty dang hot. Are there any plans for some routers made of delrin, or do you prefer to just work with SS?
Due to Delrins composition contaning formaldehyde we try to stay away from that. We may do some in peek or a hybrid version with a peek 510 but there is no time frame right now.

Trying to get a few things (new projects) further along for production before we think of what is next.

Cerakote Routers, Odin caps and Odins should be ready very soon for those waiting patiently.

I did learn there is a slight delay from OCD for the Odins and Routers due to his wife being in the hospital. Me being the family first tyoe I respect him for doing the same and send him positive thoughts and good vibes...

So after that downer. . I do have news to share that some may like.. I have a local friend who makes custom hand turned acrylic tips as ARB Customs. Well in our talks we decided we're going to do a project or two together.

Loki Lab 304ss cores with his hand turned acrylic. We will probably offer 4-5 color batches done in our Router shape.

Each tip will be unique and one of a kind as for its color. so we do put them up for sale in about 3 weeks to a month there will be four or five examples pictured and your tip would be pulled from that color bin.
