Long Delay After Customs Release

I received my delivery notice AKA "get it your self you %$##"
I was home the whole time.
She thought it was Friday and marked it to be picked up Monday then corrected it with scribbled pen.
She realized that she had screwed up her false delivery by leaving the note a day early, ruining the possibility for me to suffer a weekend wait.

OMFG ... after 13 days in Vancouver my package is finally out for delivery this morning ...

The note left yesterday said to pick up after 13:00 next day, it is now 13:23 and I have made a failed attempt to collect my property, the woman at the desk told me that the item must still be in transit and to phone back some other time.

I feel violated, this lady is keeping my personal property in her possession for no credible reason, she might as well have robbed my house because that's how it feels, I will never order from Health Cabin again unless they remove the mandatory signature on delivery, I don't care if this forgoes the insurance, at least I have some chance of getting my mail then.

The real kicker is that she can get away with it, this excerpt is from the CP complaints site

Their complaints site always says that. Maybe it really is still in transit.. how do you know? Seems like a bit of jumping to conclusions..

The Post office is six blocks from my house, it's part of a grocery store.
The main hub sends out the days mail to the post office for this area around 5 to 7 in the AM, the post woman then picks up her daily mail haul from there at 8:00am and heads out to deliver in my neighborhood, at 12:00 noon she heads back to the post office and has lunch (the grocery houses a restaurant as well) after lunch she returns to my area in her personal car and parks about 150yards up the street and begins delivering the mail for my block, she gets to my mailbox in-between 1:15 and 1:30 everyday, after she is done with the block she moves on to one more block then returns to the post office around 5:00pm to finish shift and return any undelivered mail to the post office.

She delivered the notice around 11:00am, leaving the my mail in her car, at the end of the day she returned to the post office but left my mail in the trunk of her car, overnight (this is her personal vehicle), she did not drop off my package to be picked up until late-afternoon on Friday.

I wish my mail was so dependable. We get mail between noon and 5pm if we're lucky, some days it doesn't even come. And I live in a fairly large city.

And Canada Post is still holding them because they came from China This is quite common for a Chinese package.

Leave it to Canada Post to hold onto a Chinese package so lovingly and long

That won't work! I've got three orders from China sitting with Canada Post for close to two weeks now. I contacted CP and they said the tracking is not always updated and the packages are in transit. I pointed out that they could have walked from Vancouver by now and was told to wait a week for the "Backlog" to clear then call AGAIN. END OF CONVERSATION!! And we support this organization with out tax dollars...WHY???

Gee and think they are building a multi million dollar sorting facility in Vancouver where all mail will not be sorted for quicker distribution as CP is "loosing money"

Just do what i did....(bare in mind it is either my height, my looks, my size or all three) year ago (before i started vaping) the mail man refused to deliver mail on my street....shoot in a 4 block radius. On the third week, i hauled my cookies right into the Winnipeg post office down town, demanded i see the manager, then when she came out, i wanted to know why i nor any one else in said radius was getting mail, and i thought it was a issue to be discussed in the media.

She kind of gave a shrug off and marched back into the mail room.

This was 10am in the morning, but that same day by 12noon three weeks of mail was suddenly delivered to all the houses

Besides you do know you can go over the post office and go straight to your MP right? If you wanted to be REALLY evil that IS tampering with mail ------just saying
