Hello all, I've been a lurker since sometime in 2009 when I first experimented with vaping, and figure better late than never to actually try and contribute something back since I've learned a great deal here. When I first started, it was with a basic KR808 kit, and while I liked it and it definitely helped me cut back on analogs, the lack of battery life was killer for me, especially on nights when I'd be out of the house for extended periods. So eventually I slipped back to analogs full time, up until about 2 months ago. Having recently had my first daughter, my interest in quitting smoking was renewed. Since I still had some gear from the first time around, I decided to stick with the KR808 batteries, but in a higher capacity. I was also amazed at the advances in carto/clearo options, as well as the advanced mods while I'd been gone. The new setup has been working great, and I think I've got the bug as I have a REO Grand on the way, along with a bunch of other gear to experiment with. But even if I spend more than I should on vaping gear, I just remember it still costs less than an analog habit.

Since you live in the Chicago area, there is an official forum supplier in Northbrook. To the best of my knowledge I can tell you it's Vapor4Life. They welcome anyone into their establishment to try out just about everything. I live in the tip of Texas area so I have never been there. But everyone I have dealt with has been helpful. I don't no if that's a reasonable distance for you. I do know it would be worth the trip! I have done business with quite a few companies and these folks are nice enough to be Texans.LOL If your interested just check on the top of this page for the ' Forum Suppliers' tab. Congrats on your baby and decision for the Vaping lifestyle change.
