I have to agree with this post.I just purchased two of the Evods a few days ago, I have had absolutely no problems with them. No leaking on the battery, no sucking juice into my mouth, what a pleasant change from the half dozen other setups I've tried. Great amounts of vape. Am using an Ego T and a generic 650 battery.
Now to find a tobacco juice that is not so sweet. I like sweet, but not in my tobacco. I've tried two of the Johnson Creek tobacco flavors, too sweet. The only one I can tolerate Is Voda Vape.
I'd really like to find one that's VG based. Any suggestions?

Try a VG Tobacco sampler pack. MyFreedomSmokes has them:

JANTY / OVALE's Virginia Tobacco is good and they offer 100% VG but is quite dark so not so atty friendly in my opinion.

DEKANG'S USA BLEND is not rich and full but is a decent generic tobacco flavor with not much, just the tinniest caramel after taste, just a hint. An okay standard 'at work vape.'

Usually topped with a Vivi Nova and is one of my out of the house rigs.

I too recommend the Twist/Spinner as a great starter/backup/on the go setup.

I actually just got a Vivi for the Twist, but honestly, the flavor is probably half as rich in comparison to the eVod. Granted the Vivi comes apart in more pieces and is made to where you can customize colors and tips, the important part to me is the quality of the vape.

I put it down and went back to the eVod in about 30 minutes.

The new Innokin iTaste 3.0 (https://ivape.net/index.php/iTaste-VV-3.0-Variable-Wattage-Device-Pearl-Chrome.html) runs $34.95 and includes variable power (6 - 11 Watts) and variable voltage (3.3 - 5 Volts), 510 and ego threading (for the evod), 800mAh, Ohms reader, display, +/- buttons, and more. Only slightly longer than the 650mAh ego and currently comes in four colors, Usb to micro passthrough (charger included), etc. VapinGreek review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfysWtk5GSk). Just ordered two, in Black and Pearl to replace my Twists/Spinners.

The Twist is my first VV, so I need to try other options. I was initially staying away from the LCD screens just for that extra stealth point, but the passthrough option is a pretty solid trade off.

I was going to go with another Twist (I only have one atm), but this may be a good primary where the Twist would be good for going out. Thanks for the feedback.

Still use that combo on Friday Nights Out with the Wife, and, of course, a great backup setup, and travel setup. Couple of upgrades to that setup is now a part of my arsenal. The new Innokin iTaste 3.0 (https://ivape.net/index.php/iTaste-VV-3.0-Variable-Wattage-Device-Pearl-Chrome.html) runs $34.95 and includes variable power (6 - 11 Watts) and variable voltage (3.3 - 5 Volts), 510 and ego threading (for the evod), 800mAh, Ohms reader, display, +/- buttons, and more. Only slightly longer than the 650mAh ego and currently comes in four colors, Usb to micro passthrough (charger included), etc. VapinGreek review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfysWtk5GSk). The evod may be the best clearomizer on the market, at least if you read the reviews here at ECF and on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRtqakeg3z4). Comes in ten colors, bottom coil, 1.6 ml tank, easy to fill and maintain, great draw, etc. Best price I have found is about $2.50 each from Fasttech ($24.78 EVOD Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (10-Pack / 1.5mL) 10-pack - 2.4). Negative is that these ship (free Worldwide) from Hong Kong and take about 2 weeks to get and that this price is for packs of ten [different colors]. That being said, this price is actually lower than some vendors sell the replacement head/coils for, i.e., $2.48 each (checking just now).

Couldn't agree more with your recommendations. The newest, bestest, coolest version of this "out and about setup" is perhaps the next evolution, and may be even better I think, even as a Primary. The features on the new iTaste are so rich, they actually mirror the features of many entry level mod/APV's (at about the same price I might add), and may permit a longer use life than the Twists/Spinners provide. Heck, it's only a matter of time before the APV bug gets you, and the feature set actually exceeds that of some of the high end variable voltage APV's out there.

Thanks for the thread, your recommendations and participation. Good luck, congrats on getting here, and happy vaping!

I think im ginna have to pick up that ITaste, looks very cool and stealth. I picked up the evo+evod deal on fasttech and the evod head is different than my real Evod and does not work at all.

ego-c using the 1.1ml tanks and c-attys easier to use and maintain imo

The above is what I started with and HATED.

leak,leak,leak,leak

Edit: Just to be clearer

The ego C tank system leaks. It leaks ALOT. The silicon replacement bottom caps for the tank to fix the leaking either do not open enough for juice flow or open too much and leak.

The atomizers are expensive and difficult to clean well. The LONGEST I had one last was 1 week. The SHORTEST 2 hours. They clog and then they burn irreparably with pretty much no signs that a clog is coming. Just one big hit of SERIOUSLY burnt atty.

I still use the ego-c batterys they are fantastic. Skip the tank system.

I couldn't agree more. I tried a blu menthol from Walgreens and really liked it. The taste was awesome! The price on the other hand sucked (10.00 dollars)! However, I bought three more and I started smoking analogs less. Next, I went online and started reading about blu. I saw the premium 100 kit and ordered it. That has been over 20 days and I still have not received the kit. Meanwhile, I started wanting ecigs. The local vape store suggested ego. I bought two and my life changed. Suddenly, I had choice of flavor, nicotine strength and vapor. More importantly I had control of the heat. I can't tell you how many people gave me their "bad" tasting juice and the ego brought it back to life. If one is considering a ego, please make sure it is the ego twist. My adventure into this (second time around) has now begun!

Fasttech - prices seem too good to be true. Has anyone purchased from them / able to verify if they are the real deal? of course, if they work,,,, they work.

No telling on my end - don't have the guts to order, wait, then find out.

I know I picked up some eVods from a local shop and they were busted; tasted horribly burn right out of the package. I did the whole dry burn thing, washed, dry burned, all to no avail. They were just gross. I ordered some replacement heads from a reputable company and they're working just like they should be.

Granted, I have no idea where my local shop got their eVods from, it's apparent that there are some phonies out there. Definitely something to keep in mind.
