I received the Fogger by courier service (I thought it was sent by regular post, now I understand shipping costs better) yesterday and after thoroughly going through the formatting of batteries - 8 hours charge, 20 minutes use, 1 more hour charging - I found I love this device. It is small as the DX Health, but its performance is *much* better than my two 901s.
It does not need priming. It works with shorter puffs of a classical cigarette smoker style. Actually, if I suck on it as I did on the rest of my cigs, it gets too hot and the vapour is too thick, up to the point of being unpleasant. An attempt to draw it straight in lungs burns my throat badly, but that is OK, because I always liked mouthing the taste anyway. Well, not always, but we are not talking e-cig.com burning rubber flavour here. In this way it also imitates analog smoking in which people usually do not inhale straight into lungs. Generally, the vapour is rather hor or at least feeling hot. And that is with the cart. Driiping would probably burn my tongue, If I drew hard enough.
Topping was a nightmare when I tried it directly, but the inner cup gets loose VERY easily (pressing with a paperclip or even just hitting table with the cart) and fits nicely after I refill it. This way I can also clean the mouthpiece and prevent the fluid in the mouth problem.
Speaking of fluid, Red Cow is just heavenly. I am afraid it might even be addictive
With all the extras I got free it was one of the cheapest cigs I got (barring DX). Those who hesitated too long made a big mistake, I believe. I just hope the lollipop in the box was not a nicotine one, cause my 13-y-o ate it recently
And I decided to put it to a test. I placed batteries from all the other cigs to a dark and cold place and started using this little demon as my only cig. I am really curious whether it can stand the pressure and how the warranty works, if needed. So this post is sort of a reminder of the time elapsed within the test. Hopefully, next relevant entries will be far away. We will see...
I have a couple of questions, though. To Ludo, I think.
1, Does heavy use (1-2ml a day) fall within warranty condition of proper use?
2, What does the stuff about liguid damaging atomiser "beyond recognition" in the manual mean? Is it forbidden to use dripping methods? (I sit at home looking after me other half, but if and when I leave for a longer time it would be easier just to drip than to do the clockmaker tricks with refilling a cart.)
3, The mouthpiece is really tight. Perfect for use, but when I put it on the atomiser hisses and when pulled off the atomiser even glowed red once. Is that normal? It is rather difficult to pull it off slowly. It holds and when you pull stronger, just lets go - with the atomizer burning effect.
4, What does BLINKING green light on the USB charger means? I let the battery to charge for about an hour and when I got to it the charger was blinking like 2-seconds red, 2 green. This was normal in-use charging, not the initial one.
Otherwise, the device is just marvellous. I bought it because it was beautiful, but its performance very quickly outweighed its looks. I just hope it will survive the test of not just casual use.
Feel free to add your experience.
