So vaping has changed my life immensely, I can taste, smell, breathe and best of all, run without feeling like my lungs are going to explode.

I started with mechanicals because the aspect of it really piqued my interest. I have 2 main set ups now, one of which I rarely ever use.

1) 2x 18650 vv box mod with an atomic (rarely ever touch this, might actually think of selling it away..)
2) mechanical mod with a kfl+

Along my journey of vaping(Coming up to more than a year now) I've managed to convert several of my friends, and even managed to go to 0mg for awhile. Currently I'm back to 6mg because I miss it.

It really saddens me to know that the government bans something like this while citing incorrect or even dated information, but the thought of legalization brings about fear of heavy taxation. My friends who vape still smoke because vaping in public seems dangerous to them, what with all the confiscations or fines. I myself rarely bring my vape out for fear of the same thing.

So tell me guys, how has vaping changed the way you live? How has vaping changed what you do on a daily basis?

Hi five!

I started with mech too, been using it until now. Now have a few others on it's way!

Vaping is really life changing. Really recommend everyone to give it a shot. I started out with this forum too, a few members have me more than a litle help. This act of helping others did wipe off me a little, I managed to help 7 or so members to convert and also get started!

I really hope that this forum will have more like minded people (but like minded doesn't mean you ask for help openly please), I'd hate to see this forum close on 15!

HI There!

I started with an ego twist, moved on within 10 days to a nemesis with taifun. Currently only 30+ days in to vaping. have not touched a cig since.

I vape at coffee shops with my ego. unless they have a gun, i will not comply with any officer in the event they decide to fine me.

every night i have to rewick the TF, think i'm spending too much time with the equipment.

I don't even dare to bring my vape out :/ Rewicking every night huh.. What resistance are your coils and what is your wick?

I use cotton in my builds with the resistance around 1 ohm, only changing the wicks when I go through the whole tank of juice

I Vape outside too, but be safe bro. I know my neighborhood well, and I don't venture to town. So I pretty much know what's going on around, especially all the familiar faces. :)

I rewick every 2 days back then, but I now rewick every 4 days or so. My new wicking method seems to hold up well, even though I'm running a 0.4ohm build. :D

Maybe its my juice that gunking up the coils too fast. Super snow by monkey vapes.

Beside you
After being on it for 4 odd years, can say the health has greatly improved. Although i still go analog when i'm overseas but will switch back to it once i reach home. The urge when i'm using it isnt as bad as when i was on analog..Can go out for the whole day without it..

Currently using iTaste VTR + PT2 and a DIY DNA30 box Mod with a Taifun GT(Clone) with the latter being my daily driver. Will still use the VTR which is loaded with other flavours when i'm home.

Previous hardware includes the 1st 510(The one that resemble's a analog then to a eGo-T(Before switching to cartos and tanks), went to a Lavatube before a ProVari Mini(Carto tank then DIY top feed RBA then PT2)..

Have yet to venture into mechs and probably wont be going onto that path as i prefer wattage vaping nowadays..

Been a positive experience. Started with your run of the mill ego-t before grabbing a mech mod and rba. Said adieus to analogs and have remaining smoke free ever since (keeping my fingers crossed).

Taste is coming back and not to mention - stamina. I'm going to try cutting down nicotine from 9/12mg to 6.

Was smoking a pack a day. Was studying in the US and started to get really fat. Tried working out and got too breathless. Also found that I couldn't really breathe after going up stairs. So I decided I have to stop smoking.

Started with a v2 a looong time ago. Damned things were expensive, and lasted me a couple of hours each battery. But it worked and I just went from a pack a day to 0. I did chain vape like nuts though; I never left the house without 6 fully charged battery and even then I always had my pass through ecig with me.

Fast forward to today, my favorite mods are my 2 provaris. Tried mechanicals (I have a nemesis and a panzer), but just never liked it. I like my vape consistent and strong without having to worry about my battery getting overly discharged.

Now, I can work out easily. I run marathons. My girlfriend says I don't smell like an ashtray. I breathe better and I feel better.

There is only 2 words I can use to describe vaping perfectly, and it is "life-changing"

here & now
Vaping has given me hope.

Started smoking at 13 yrs old and have always enjoyed it, the action, the relaxation breaks, seeing the smoke etc., so I've never entertained the thought of quitting at all. Nevertheless, I did try quitting with the nicotine inhaler 10 years back but failed within 1 week. When I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 35, I knew I had to quit for good but I still couldn't, the best I could achieve was gradually cut down from 25 sticks to 12 to 15 sticks a day. Fast forward 4 years to last Nov when I received my first e-cig/juice in the mail (ego X6 knock-off/liqua), I quit on the spot. I was overjoyed because with that first vape, I realised I've truly found an alternative to smoking that is effective enough to help me stop smoking, my 1 & a half pack of dunhills was thrown into some dark corner of the house ever since.

Overall, I feel better about myself and feel better physically too, got lesser colds, headaches, fatigue, panting etc., but I chain-vape so I was still concerned how vaping would affect my known health conditions. Thankfully the results from my regular check-up last week turned out good, sugar levels went down a bit and cholesterol level was very well-maintained too. Like most vapers, I can smell better too but somehow I only seem to notice bad smell more, BO, second hand/stale smoke, my own poo etc.

Vaping is more time-consuming for me, charging batteries, maintenance, recoiling & re-wicking, preparing enough when I head out etc. but this little price is definitely worth it. After my ego X6 (which is still working flawlessly today) and a SVD which started auto-firing after just 1 week (now used only for confirming resistance with my multimeter), I finally settled on rotating among 3 mech mods for my daily consumption (fruity, "vanilla-ish", tobacco) with 1 to 1.5 ohms resistance on a spheroid, kayfun mini & 3d dripper. My initial beginners spending spree has finally come to a stop....for now....

Apologies for the ramble, but having this forum also helps alot in my quitting journey as I get to see support from fellow vapers and it is also a venue where I can strengthen my own convictions by rambling
about my experience. :vapor:
