Thanks!

He is a collector. He gave me an eGo-CTwist with a KangerTech Protank. He also gave me a couple juices. Showed me all the workings of it. He has been vaping for a few years, and has quite the collection, I hardly see him with the same set up as the previous day.

Sounds like a good friend you have there! I have been smoking for 38 years now. stopped for the second time with vaping. the first time was 2 years ago, all I knew was the little analog looking things. Worked kind of but got tired of filing the tips and was really unhandy when out fishing or any outdoor activity so I fell back into the stinkies. This time I started back with a better outfit with tanks and batteries that last a long time. The vapor is better and I also went with a higher nic percentage. It has been 1 week today since my last smoke and I really think this is going to work! I love the fact I can sit here in my easy chair vaping away with my wife's consent!!! I have not smoked in a house in 25 years and it actually feels weird to vape inside again! Good luck to US!!!

.....'Today a co-worker/friend gave me a kit as long as I would try it out. I actually enjoy it,".....

As a 40+ year smoker who thoroughly enjoyed smoking, I had no thoughts nor intention of quitting. Then I stumbled across "vaping" with the astounding variety of flavors it offers and haven't burned any real tobacco since. Good equipment combined with the "right" juices brings great pleasure and satisfaction but finding a juice that suites your taste can be a daunting task.

I just started vaping a couple of months ago. I know what you mean. Quitting cigs is HARD. I started off with the V2 e-cigs and hated them with a passion. I was smoking cigs and fake-vaping at the same time. I found a local vape shop that carried e-juices and batteries, mods. I got hooked in for around $45 on my starter kit. Was the best decision I ever made. I started out at 24mg of nicotene, and next month I'll step down to 12. BTW, I haven't had one cigarette since I went to the juice. Not a single one. I can't stand the smell of it now.
You're right. It takes some getting used to. Finding the right combination for your setup is important, too. I've since ditched the starter kit and went to an Itaste battery with a Pro-tank glass tank and plastic drip tip. The combo works for me because I have a battery that not only lasts for more than a day, but the glass tank allows me to try flavors that might otherwise crack a plastic tank. I ran the plastic drip tip only because I got tired of the aftertaste that seemed to come with the metal tip. It's a more expensive set up, but it's worth the investment. You get decent vapor, and you can make the hit as strong or weak as you want.
Good luck and vape on!

Vaping. Inside. Isn't it wonderful? Isn't it great to indulge a little and not get lambasted for it because someone else is allergic to your cigarette smoke? I love vaping, and it's worked great for me. Haven't smoked a cig in nearly two months now. Was a pack and a half a day man for twenty-something years. I feel a lot better now, both physically and emotionally. I don't feel that stigma, you know? As a plus, I think I smell better, too. People seemed to have taken notice of this, and I've found that more people are actually approaching me and starting a conversation now. It's wierd, being sociable again! Vaping is so cool!

Don't forget you can get one of these:

For when you go fishing, so you can charge stuff, like your ecig battery or cellphone, or the kid's toy helicopter!

Once you've found your comfortable setup, if you want to cut down the nicotine you might as week keep a high nicotine tank for occassional use and a low nicotine tank for your more regular use.

And those metal mouthpieces that come with the protanks do irritate my lips; I wrap them with plummer's mate.
