hi all my names Ross. I am a non smoker but my girlfriend is. she has started using an e cig to great effect with only one cigarette smoked since early Dec when she started with it.
I have subsequently tried her e cig with different flavours and enjoy using it. however the model (tornado t) does not produce much vapour which is what appeals to me. I would if possible like advice on what e cig would be good for me. obviously I would use nicotine free liquids.
basically I am after an e cig and liquid That produces a good vape That can preferably be bought off the shelf/internet. price range circa 40-50ish pounds.

many thanks :)

ps I have little to no "lingo" as regards to abbreviations etc so go easy lol

Hi Ross, and welcome! My wife was a (mostly) nonsmoker too, and she also enjoys vaping.

You don't mention what size you can deal with. If you want a cigarette size, I'll stay out of it. If you can deal with one about the size of a Sharpie, my personal recommendation is an eGo Spinner (two batteries and charger), an atomizer to taste juice with, and some Kanger T3s with replacement heads. You're going to hear other recommendations, and they're great too, but those are my personal preferences for starting up (and I still use them, although I have upgraded since.)

*edit*
PS. As opposed to the eGo, I consider the KGO even better. The eGo does have variable voltage (you can get the KGO with that to, now), but the KGO has a much more sturdy feel to me. The reason I didn't include it initially is because I found them hard to find in Europe.

PPS. eGo and KGOs are battery types, and Kanger T3s are tanks that hold liquid (that fit the batteries I mentioned). :)

Hey there, Ross. If you just want to have some fun with off the shelf gear, and especially since you are zero nic and not vaping for effect, I'd recommend an iTaste VV/VW 3.0 with some EVOD or Aspire heads. If you'd like to make a bit more fog and have some small technical ability, I'd recommend researching a rebuildable atomizer like an Igo-w/l/s. But do your homework there before you get started. Normally we recommend new users have multiple batteries and heads so that if something goes wrong, you have a backup to keep you from reverting back to cigarettes but in your case I'd say that doesn't apply. Have fun :)

For my money, and again you said "off the shelf" kit, I like the 1.8 Ohm Aspire dual coil heads running at 3.7-4.3 volts for good vape quality and flavor. Lower resistance nets more vapor production at lower voltages in my experience. HOWEVER, I will yield the floor for more technical folks in this area so wait for them on that :) Different heads are really just a matter of preference. Again, since you're not using this as a crutch to quit an addiction, try a bunch of different ones and see what you like. Tanks tend to be the most convenient since they have a good capacity but drippers, and especially rebuildable dripping atomizers, yield the best flavor and vapor production BAR NONE.

Liquids are just so personal preference... Just try a bunch of zero nic samples in small 5ml or so bottles till you find some you like.

Just my opinion, mind you :)

Welcome.

Maybe you should consider an iTaste VV or Vision Spinner.

I can send you in the right direction, price wise.

If you want outright "bonkers" vapour, what about an MVP v.2 and a tank capable of blasting up to 11 watts. Just don't buy it from the high street, 'cause they will kill you on the price, if your Mrs goes where I think she goes.

£38 MVP v.2 Love it. :)
