I have 2 minis, and I'd love to use them in 18350 mini mode, but the thought of leaving the house with only 700mAh gives me anxiety. I do sometimes extend them to 18490 mode, but at that point I may as well go full 650 .......

So my question is: are there IMR18350 batteries out there with more mAh than the ones ProVape sells? I realize the absolute answer which is: ProVape sells the only batteries recommended for the ProVari. But I am not a warranty-hugger. I'm willing to breach ProVape's confidence in me for some extra mAhs, so long as it's IMR.

About the only choice you have in a quality 18350 IMR battery are the ones sold by AW and Efest. Efest claims to have about 100 mAh more in theirs, but from experience with both brands, the AW's are much better.

Since you love the size of the Mini, why not buy a plastic battery case and carry a couple extra 18350 batteries in one and carry them in your pocket?

Amazon.com : (2 Pieces) IMR 18350 800mah 3.7v High Drain Li-mn Rechargeable Battery with Button Top : General Use Batteries : Electronics
Efest IMR 18350 Button Top - Batteries
Yep. It's only 100 mAh more, but it's better than nothing. I have these and they work fine. If you think ProVape is the only seller of recommended batteries, they brainwashed you but good. They are not AW certified, but they are IMR.

The only other company that I know of that makes 18350 button tops even higher is segelei there 900mah they came with my Bobo and I assume there supposed to be stacked which I didn't like so I kept them for my minis and use a 18650 in the Bobo.

I highly doubt that segelei sells them loose, one can only get there hand on those with a kit.

I have those, and I think they're the same ones Bad referred to.
I haven't done a full scientific test, but first couple passes, the AW's substantially outlasted them - despite the 100 Mah difference.
I'd love more vape time from an 18350, but those eFests don't do it...

I don't "LOVE" the minis. I have 5 full size and 2 minis if that illustrates my preference better.

I already carry multiple spare 18650s with me along with a full size. In fact I don't leave the house without two provarii. I just wish I could use a mini in 350 mode.

At this point, I use the 350 mode so little that I barely have a need for a mini. So usually I have them extended out to 650 with a tatroe tube and a KirF or ProVape extension cap.

I barely use my fulls in 490 either. I guess I'm just a 650 kind of guy. But was just curious if maybe someone was aware of a secret battery that could make a mini more practical.

Well, in that case...
The EFest 800mAh batteries, while showing a higher capacity, also have a higher internal resistance. Thus, not delivering the same run time under the same load.
The Sigelei's, mentioned by Splatnext, I believe are protected LiIon. Not IMR. ProVari requires high-drain batteries. So, LiIon are a no-go.
AW's really are the best battery for the Provari in the mini configuration.
