The last place I'd search for batteries is Amazon.

Go with the AW Batteries : AW IMR 18350 3.7V 700mAh when they get back in stock at RTD Vapor. They are what I use. I went against my normal practice recently of only buying AW brand batteries and tried a couple of higher mAh'ed 18350 Efest batteries. They worked similar to the AW's for a couple of weeks and then both began to be unable to sustain their charge as good as new. They now sit in a drawer not worthy of being in my AW battery rotation.

If you need these now, Super T has them - Super T ~ Batteries

* Safety should be your first priority in choosing a battery. MAh ratings can be highly deceiving as there are no standards in the mAh ratings that manufacturers label their batteries. A lower mah battery of higher quality is better than a higher mAh battery of lower quality.

using/selecting a mod that used an 18350 kinda leaves you out of the cold as far as longetivity is concerned, best you might be able to do is at amazon..... google is your good friend

Thanks but I can get two of these for about 5 bucks....using google.."IE" Fasttech. Been there, done that and as Thrasher and Bad (longtime vapers) let me know.... AW is apparently time tested by those in the know which is what I was fishing for here.

Thanks again guys. Your the bomb !

I wouldn't accuse FastTech of this, but BEWARE other unknown sources of batteries at low prices.
There are A LOT OF BAD BATTERIES - places will buy REJECTS and rewrap them and sell them to you, so you can burn down your house. Or your face. Not to be negative or anything - but it's HIGHLY recommended that you NOT go "cheap" on batteries...

(I'm still learning a bit about them before buying my first setup, but I've been reading a lot of battery posts!)

I have a slew of AW 18350's and a slew of XTAR (Panasonic) 18350's and to me, the output is about the same. I like both but since I have more AWs on deck, I tend to use them more solely based on quantity. The discernible difference is minimal though I notice when my AWs are near re-charge status, they tend to tail off tremendously than the others. That's why it is easier to just pull one from my reserve and go from there. Also, if you're a noble 1 user like me--the Panasonic ones are a slight bigger cell and it won't allow the battery cap to fully close and allows for a little non-performance effecting gap between the body tube and end cap. I don't have that problem with the AWs so that is also a reason I carry more AWs.

Are AW and Efest similar in quality? Price wise they are very close.
I've been using the AW IMR's (14500, 18350, 18490, 18650), some for over a year now. I recently went against my normal policy of only purchasing the AW's, and bought a couple of 14500 Efest IMRs for my daughter's AltSmoke BB and a couple of 18350 Efest IMR's for my Mini Provari.

After about a month's useage, both of us noted similar battery life as our AW's for the first three weeks, but after that the battery life has dropped severely from 6 - 7 hours down to 3 - 4 hours. My Efests are now collecting dust in a drawer, not worthy of being in my AW rotation.

If it was just one size battery, I could rationalize that I got some from a bad batch, but this was with two different battery sizes. I purchase all of my batteries from RTD Vapor, a trusted online battery vendor. We both use Nitecore Intellichargers, a high quality charger.

I have AW 18650 batteries that are over a year old that are still working nearly as good as new. I've never had a bad AW; makes me wonder why I chose to try Efests.

Just my experience.

I received my AW IMR 18350's today from RTDVAPORS. Quick shipping BTW. I'm looking forward to timing/testing them...seeing how they do compared to the efest and the others I got from FT. I can already tell you that the AW has lasted longer...I'm still vaping it now. Got them at noon, put a top off charge on it and put it in about 1 oclock.....lets see.... its 6:29 right now. Yep....doing good.

I'm only using it at 3.7 today and a 2.2 single coil.

And again go with the AW brand batteries. Don't scrimp on that aspect of vaping. Go with the quality products.

Though some batts may have a higher mah rating, AW's have 500 charge cycles............
Its the charge cycles that matter most I'm guessing.
Its all comes out in the wash. Pay now or pay later....

Thanks for sharing. I'll see how long these Efests last. If my results are similar to yours, I'll get some AE or some MNKE batteries.

Using a Xtar charger.
