Hello everyone,

I've actually been on this site for quite a while, just never had a reason to ask a question really because I'm a firm believer in the "search" button. And SO much has been covered, there are few questions that have not been asked already.

But new stuff is coming out all the time, and I want to be able to ask questions going forward. I started with the V4L little batteries, those thin last-half-the-day batteries with the premade carts; after a few weeks I couldn't figure out how people saved money with them, they weren't satisfying and so much hassle, I couldn't quit real cigs. They were more my substitutes when I wanted nicotine while gaming on my Xbox, or if the weather was bad.

Slowly made the progression, from that to filling my own, to getting passthrus, to larger 808D cartridges, and the largest leap, leaving the 808D form factor behind and going Go-Go (huge difference in the underrated Throat Hit factor to quit real cigs), then Ego, and now I'm finally in the Mod stage - Dual coil XL cartomizers and DCT 510 tanks for fluid, and the wife has a Joye 18650 with a couple tubes and an Ego 650 VV, and I have in my arsenal an LJE 22 mod 18650 tube, a Lavatube VV clone, LCD Ego batt, and, my most recent and absolute best experience so far, the Smoketek Varicool Mod. Love that thing, but it makes me think of all the money I wasted and I could have gotten a Provari/Darwin with money left over.

Sent the TOX back that I tried 2 weeks ago, just didn't hit that well and I wanted more variety in my voltages. I should have listened to the negative remarks instead of wasting the time.

Portability is important to me, the tube clone is too big to carry around constantly. At this stage, is it still a good idea to go to a Provari mini? I think I'd like to have that along with my smoktek, and it would probably cover all my bases (I smoke 3 flavors constantly throughout the day), leaving the big tube at home.

And really, is it really possible to find a menthol that is just like, say, a salem light menthol? I've been thru so many, and wastes my carts when I try a new one and don't like it.

I promise, first and last post that is EVER this long!

I joined for the same reason. I wonder how many people do the same thing, lurk for a while, want to ask a question, then have to hang out in the new members forum.

I saw a 3VO VV at a place around here, looked super cool, hit awesome, VV intrigues me. Now I have been on here non stop reading about all the different VV options that are out there.

Unfortunately, I don't have any real insight as my experience is solely with the Nebulas from V9. I will echo your Throat Hit comments though. I've been vaping for about 6 months, was able to completely drop cigs with my first cart of vape. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost that TH feeling lately and I've noticed I'm vaping WAY too much. That TH is more of a problem for me, I believe, than the nicotine itself.

Welcome to ECF! You may want to experiment with dripping new flavors onto an Atty before you commit a carto to the juice.

I can't recommend a replacement for Salems - I'm still looking for a juice similar to Marb menthol lights. The closest I've come are the prefilled menthol carts from Mistic, but I really like to fill my own. I have found that I really enjoy fruity and sweet flavors, and only crave the menthol cig flavor once in a while.
