Hey guys,
My old crappy taped mod died after 5 months of use, which I think is not that bad
but it WAS my first mod ever. I went without 5 volt vaping for a few weeks because of this and was missing the experience horribly.
The Switch was the Achilles Heel of my old fugly MOD, so I decided to get a bigger (And hopefully more durable) 3 amp switch from The Source.
The Old 5 Volt PT:

This MOD sure was fugly, even I admit it, haha. But you guys were kind to me and didn't put down any of my aspirations. I decided to re-make it and use some more of the knowledge I have acquired.
The New 5 Volt PT:

No more tape on the top and bottom to secure anything. In fact, there is no tape at all. I lightly epoxied everything in place so I could service it when it inevitably breaks too.

For these pictures I used a standard 510 atty with a HappyVaper SS T-Tip, I would have shown it with my silver 510 LR atty to complete the look of it, but knowing my luck... I would accidentally activate the switch

The only re-used pieces are the thread and USB cable, and it works amazing with 510 Cartos.
This only cost me $2 for the flashlight, $7 for two switches, and the USB cable is an ancient one I found laying around the house, and 15 minutes of soldering/ epoxying the switch, thread and end caps.
Anyway, works great and I just wanted to show it off and thank you all for helping me break into modding.
Now I just need to come up with an idea for a new, battery powered MOD to have as a backup for when my eGo dies while I'm on the go.
