I stopped by walmart while I was out today to pick up some tater tots. I thought I'd look at what ecigs they had available. They had them behind the cash register of the cigarette aisle. I couldn't see what was there, but the cashier told me I could go back and look if I wanted to. As I was going back there she said, "you know, The Doctors had a show on those yesterday". I said, "oh really? What did they say about them?" She replied, wrinkling up her nose, "they said they are worse than cigarettes. They have all sorts of chemicals in them!"

I enlightened her a bit. Told her was was looking at the cheap options available to recommend or give out to people i might come across who were interested. That I had been using one for almost two years and had gone from 1.5 pad to none. I showed her my vamo and explained the different parts. She told me she had been smoking since she was 14, and was 77 now. Told her I have a degree in cellular and molecular biology and had read all the research I could get my hands on, and that I was convinced they were much less harmful than cigarettes. She seemed to be willing to accept they might not be "worse than cigarettes". Maybe she will give them a try.

i bought a Fin disposable since she kind of broke the rules to let me go back and look at them. It seems okay, but tastes kind of weird. Kind of a dry taste. Don't know how long it will last. Says two packs, lol.

Most Wal-marts, at least in the central area dropped Mystic and replaced them with FINs as the main display. They usually have a BLU hanging around, but not as many as the FINs.

I started on those, since the FINs had an extra strength, 2.4% (24% mg). Yep, the flavor is dry and nutty and the nicotine they use burns the throat. Needless to say, it was enough to get me off smoking, but in less than a week, I had already ordered my Halo Triton starter kit :)

The disposable Fins lasted about 5 hours of moderate vaping.

They had Blu, mistic, and fin. I think that's about it. I would have taken more time to look, but the cashier was nervous about me being back there. The mistics didn't have prices on them, so I had no idea how much they went for. Our walmart certainly doesn't make it easy to look at the ecigs they do carry.

A high school person I know on facebook was raving about the fin disposable, so I thought I'd check it out. I had messaged back and forth with her for a while trying to convince her to go with an ego, or something like that (cheaper, better), but she seems to really like the disposables.

+1 for tater tots :p

What connection type does the Fin take? - I am assuming it's proprietary but I thought I'd ask.

Good story Spazmelda, we should all take the time to counter the misinformation out there about ecigs and vaping.

I got the disposable one. It looks to be all one piece. I'll rip the paper off when I've run the battery down and see what I can see.

510 connection for the kits. The disposables are all one piece.

Our local WalMart has Njoy and Fin. It seems to vary regionally as to wich brand is in each store. The Murphy Oil gas stations at the super centers here stock the Swisher e-cigs.

I used 1 and 1/2 of the regular Njoy's while waiting for my first e-cig kit, after wiping the local Walgreens out of the 4 Blu disposables they had in stock. I hope to never have to resort to another Njoy.

I hear good things about the Njoy King though, I just can't bring myself to try it. I got one of the freebies they were giving out when they first came out, but I gave it to a co-worker to try.

I know right. I tried the tot-patch, but it just didn't satisfy me. Lol, tot-patch sounds kind of dirty. Tater-patch doesn't sound much better.

LOL!!! That had me rollin...

Might I also suggest along with the tots and burgers, to add Betty Crocker's Suddenly Salad Bacon Ranch pasta salad. I made that exact combo last week and it was the PERFECT BBQ picnic dinner. :D
