Can't say I understand lung hitting either apart from bigger clouds then mouth to lung but a few years ago when all those experts were coming out with "nicotine isn't the problem for quitting its the whole ritual the hands and mouth" (well in the UK) I bought a pack of herbal things trying to quit omg they smelt like a bonfire and tasted like a week old sock but it did make me realise the biggest thing I missed was the throat hit. I think that's why vaping worked as well for me I take an inhale and get that lovely hit and it's why I'll be vaping till I croak.

Years ago I got thrown out of a pub because the landlord thought the herbal cigs smelled like something illegal!

Medicine is not a science. Physicians take science courses but that does not make its practice a science. To be brutal and perhaps overstate the case, medicine is actually cake baking following a recipe, a conditioned response to a certain set of circumstances. They're as subject to propaganda as are most of us.

I'm sure the big tobacco companies are spreading propaganda right and left. E cigs are their nightmare come true. But I fear the rotten politicians will get to us one day with huge taxes like they did on cigs. Instead of heralding this as the big health improvement that it is. I just wish we could get to their booze in the same way...add a ten dollar tax on every mixed drink, on every bottle of liquor. Give them a dose of their own medicine.

We would then see certain "designated" bars as tax free zones in DC and every state capitol. The ruling class will always protect themselves from actually living under the laws that they pass.
