I want to stay with a VV, would love to move up to an Innokin 134 or Vamo but honestly, I'm only 3 months in and feel I need more experience before that level. Something about actually handling those removable batts makes me nervous. So I'm ok staying in the middle right now.
I've been vaping for 1 month and I've already got two mods. We do need to be careful with rechargeable batteries, but I don't think you lack experience. :)

Hi Angie, I started with Vision Spinners1300mah and Smoktek Winders1300mah. I have 4 and rotate them. I get a full day out of one. Over 3 months in and I love them. I know you don't like the box shape of the MVP2, but I have decided that it will do all I want vv/vw and for a low cost to make sure the vw feature is important to me before I spend all the money on a new charger, batteries, SVD or other bigger mod. For one price, I can try it out for a few months. Then I will see about a Provari.

I have held the SVD and Vamo and a mini Provari. The Provari is nice but expensive. The SVD was larger than the Vamo and heavier and I did not like the grooves on the sides of the tube. It was not comfortable in my hand. The Vamo was more comfortable for me to hold. All of the above are considerably heavier than the spinners/winders. But they all will take the big tanks and dripping attys. The Innokin vv3 is nice but the 800mah was not for me. And the top heavy aspect was a negative for me.

Hope you can find something you will enjoy using. Have fun with it. Try to find a vape shop where you can see and hold them. It makes all the difference in the world.

ShariR makes a good point about feel in the hand.

If you can find the different mods in B&Ms to handle them, it's a great way to find out (Not necessarily to buy!) Getting stuff online is certainly cheaper, but it's often hard to tell exactly how big they are. And how it feels is going to be a big factor in how much we like our mods :)

I'm actually searching that now as to what my local B&Ms carry so I can go and see, hold and feel in person. Leaning big time towards Provari but just watched a vid on it and others and noticed the LED screen on Provari looked kind of outdated compared to like the Evic. That is not a 100% deciding factor for me in fact performance is way more important.

I guess I was just kind of shocked that it didn't appear to be updated for maybe quite some time in that particular feature.

Interesting, too, that they haven't added VW to the Provari lineup.

Although, with their reputation, perhaps they're waiting to test out the long term reliability of the chips. Of course, the Evic does add a lot of bells and whistles... but I'm not sure I'm ready for an alarm clock in my PV! :)

I've been vaping for about 5 weeks. I have a Vamo v3 with a a Kanger Protank on it, and my rda atty. I stick with the variable wattage so I don't have to do math. Usually around the 8 watt range. But I always check my ohms law calculator, and wattage chart if I'm unsure of anything. I use Panasonic NCR 18650 3400 MAH. It last me almost two days of heavy vaping. I was a little apprehensive to step up to the apv mod world. But I'm sooooo glad I did! I don't even touch my egos anymore.
I would suggest a vamo, or a sid. Thay are pretty cheap (under $50) and easy to use. Stay away from mech mods untill you become a little more experienced. I've been researching on ECF for awhile now. Some day ill make the jump to a mech. I just need to know more on battery safety.
But I will say from experience. APV's are the way to go for serious vaping

Thx for the the info and I'm actually relieved to read this that I'm not alone w/being nervous about stepping up to a mod. Mech mod, no way for me. My pea brain and lack of any mechanical skills would not get me to this level, at least not now.

Mods, from what I've read, can be very cool and hopefully enhance my vape experience but I know it also comes with educating myself and using safety measures and common sense. I plan on buying the best batts and chargers that I can. I wll not skimp on safety. I still shudder thinking about that poor guy in Fl and actually didn't want a mod at first when I heard about that. But I believe he was using stacked batts...something I'm never going to do.

I plan on getting AW-IMR 18490 w/the Provari mini/extender. The charger I'm still researching. I am excited, but nervous so I'm researching, studying, watching vids...everything now and when I have it all put together and comfortable, I'm purchasing it. I've got a good set up now so it's not like I have to have it today. It's a big investment and I want to do it right.

Except, the stupid things keep getting in the way like what color for the mod itself and what color LED lights?!?! LOLOLOL

I agree plus more bells and whistles can lead to more problems, repairs and so forth.
I made my decision...going w/ProVari. Just now deciding color. Thx for all the help peeps!

Also, the color and lights are not stupid. I think most of us care about the aesthetic of the mod to some degree. :2cool:
