...possibly a 23mm tank. Either way, it needs to fit on a Pico ;)

The requirements:

top fill (I don't have an issue with juice flow control like some other people seem to have)
doesn't leak (seriously, none of the tanks that I own leak. ever.)
dual coil capable (I usually build with one coil, but I want the option to build with 2)
suitable for 15-55 watt builds (I build differently depending on how I feel at the time)
completely rebuild-able (no pressed fittings with o-rings inside)

I was really looking into the Merlin but after hearing about the issues with the pressed fitting at the bottom, I've decided I don't want a tank built like this.

I have been vaping DTL lately, but I also like a restricted DTL/MTL sometimes... so a good AFC would be nice.

I know there's more info I could be telling you guys, but for some reason can't think of anything at the moment :D

Please send some suggestions my direction. Just ask if you need more information regarding my preferences.

The EHpro Bachelor II, amazing tank! (dual coil)

Just got it a week or two ago, using it with SS for TC (and about 0.2 -0.5 builds, @ around 40W) and it's become one of my favorite tanks of all times... the top fill is the best I've ever used. I had to order another one after a few days before they disappear as it's one of those that didn't get a large distribution and very few know of it/tried it.

I tried the Bachelor and the Nano. Both were disasters. For leaking screwing tge base duslodged the wick and the stupid things flooded and then leaked out the airflow.

From what I've read (as I don't have the original Bachelor), they are completely different beasts...

And from what I've seen, the difference in quality is huge.

I've had mine (and my wife has one also) for a good two weeks, and absolutely no leaking from either, the building is probably the easiest I've ever built on (as it's a post-less deck).

Thats good to hear.

the Bachelor and the Nano were postless too.

If Someone can design a good postless deck that doesnt leak; that is the way of the future.

Just imagine a dual coil postless deck about the size of a Kayfun build deck.

Put two Clapton coils in there. Then you would have terific flavor and cloudage in the same Atty.

Uh oh. I just ordered one for my first RTA. What's this pressed fitting issue?

Some folks have had problems with oozing, felt to be related to the o ring inside that you can't really get to (you can, but it means separating the deck which it really wasn't designed for). However, there are folks, including me, who have not had any such issues. Maybe it's just variable QC in the factory as it is not an issue on every Merlin out there. Personally, I like it. Great flavor with a restricted DL/looser mtl design.

Thank you everyone for all the great info!! This gives me a great list to do research on and find the right ones for me! Greatly appreciated.

Oh, I don't think you need to be worried. The problem seemed to be in their first version. It's been brought to their attention and they've addressed the issue in a newer version... as far as I can tell anyway. I just don't want any kind of pressed fittings is all. I'm kind of a gearhead and work on everything I own. I couldn't have something I couldn't tear apart completely.

Edit: lol, yeah. Read Eskie's response above mine. We posted at the same time, but he's more informed than I am ;)

Nah, I'm just lazier. Why pull a base apart that's working fine?:)

I hope I won't be one of the Unlucky Ones. This will be my first RTA. Can't wait!
