It isn't hard. I had to teach a few people that have zero skills in doing stuff like this, and they picked it up super fast. At first it seems overwhelming, but once you do your first build you will see how easy it really is and gain plenty of confidence in your skills.

+1 for the Vandy Vape Maze (for future reference). I’ve been building coils for years, but I still use this ... RD ... RB ... whatever it is all the time. I do have to crank it up to about 75 watts to hit my sweet spot, which is about twice as much power as I usually use, but the flavor is great and I don’t need a screwdriver or an Allen key or anything.
