Hey guys,

im currently wanting to spread my wings a little, and I'm wanting the most flavourful vamping experience. I currently use a 1000mah ego t battery, and standard resistance ce4 v2 clearomizers. I pretty much exclusively vape flavour art ry4 nutzilla vg.

What do I need to get more flavour from vaping?

I was looking into getting a vv ego with pass through so I could ramp up the power a little, but will this just burn the juice with it being a standard resistance clearomizer? The other option was to get a mini vivi nova or kanga.

there seems to be so much info on voltages, resistance levels, carts, clearos that it makes it difficult to know what to get.

sorry to be a pain, but don't know what the best move is!

joe

You are not alone, Joe. I have been vaping for over 3 years and there are so many choices these days, that it really is hard to find the best one for you.

I settled on the eGo, an E-Power mod and low resistance, dual coil cartomizers. It may not be the best setup, but it keeps me happy. Maybe you should just try different things until you find what makes you happy too.

Good luck.

Hi everyone, Im with you joe, I just started vaping 2 day's ago and do not taste any of the ejuice flavors I have. I have been reading that my taste buds are numb from smoking analog's since 1977, so Im try to find a flavor I can enjoy vaping while getting off analog's but have had no luck. I have the volt X2 passthrough battery 900 with clearomizers, I just love it,the vapor and it's been 2 day's and I haven't had to charge it again. I was watchig a you tube vlog that said the smaller batteries give you more flavor than a larger battery, so Im thinking of ordering a 78mm from smokless image to try. I might look into the Ego-C twist that Balbrt1 has suggested, but I need to first get off the analog's.

In recently made the switch from tobacco to Vaping and have a bucnh of Ego CE4`s and CE5`s and some T`s with tanks. Just switched to a Ego VV pass thru and ViVi nova burned out the 2.4 ohm and popped in the 1.8 ohm and it really makes the flavor kick. I am vaping LJ`s E smokes Smoothberry and Papa Smurf and they both are berry flavored and have a nice odor/taste. Cant wait to get the Lava tube tonight in the mail. That also will have ViVi nova vaporizers on it.

hey niane. That doesn't sound right. Smaller batteries will not improve the quality of the vape or the flavor. Maybe post a link to that video so we can help troubleshoot?
Adding menthol juice to other flavors of juice tends to perk them up a little. Might want to try that.
Different vendors offer stronger flavors of e-liquid. Mabye look into stronger flavors until your taste buds start to recover?

hey there-i use an ego twist, which i love (usually have the dial turned up to around 4-either just past or just before), and i went through all kinds of clearos until i finally found a couple of things that work best for me. i think the best wick-based clearo out right now is the (everybody say it along with me....) vivi nova. i use the minis on my twist, because they look super slick (especially with the short cone adapter ring thingy). i usually use the 2.4 or 2.8 atty heads, and i get tons of flavor and vapor-i've been vaping backwoods brew casablanca for months, and with the aforementioned setup, i am tasting elements of that juice that i have not tasted using stardusts, t2's, etc. it really is a great little tank, and i think nearly everybody who's tried it would agree. i also have these sweet little 3ml tanks with pre-punched cartomizers i got from texas select vapor that i love as well. depending on which way i''m swinging, i'll go for one of the two...or both setups. obviously taste is subjective, and good juice is key. i am a big fan of backwoods brew, and i've managed to finally narrow it down to 3 or 4 juices that are my mainstays: casablanca, malty toffee (yum!!!!), hunter's blend, and 555 exotic. if you're just quitting smoking, you may have difficulty tasting the flavor of some juice. i haven't had a real cig in over a month, and the taste buds are starting to wake up from the coma i put them in for 20 plus years. hopefully, the advice you're getting here is helping you-i love this forum!

I'm not sure of the etube video you saw, but smaller batteries only give you shorter battery life, nothing else! Variable Volt mod's (vv's) with larger batteries, and of course, voltage, are the one's that give more flavor.
Just because something's on etube, doesn't make it true!

Hi Unclebad, I found the video on you tube, it was: vaping for over sixties,to smokers, new vapors, enemies of vaping and cat science.wmv by vapingpoint it was uploaded 3 weeks ago. I thought to was strange that is lady seems to think she's getting more flavor with a smaller battery, battery life was the reason I purchase the 900 volt x2 passthrough, so I knew she was wrong, but who am I to judge. I had bought 5 sample bottles of juice with 24mg, which is too stronge for me and the throat hit, makes me cough. I smoke ultra light cigarettes, so I purchased the 8mg nicotine of super concentrated pineapple flavor from vaper bomb and I also purchased a few other flavors, each 1 with different nicotine levels but I will try the menthol if the pineapple doesn't do it for me. Thanks so much for the info, much appricated Niane

The eGo is 3.4 volts. The E-Power, Kgo, etc is 3.7 volts so not much diff. I use the Kgo and now that I'm vaping 2 mg juice I found I needed a stronger hit. Bought the Twist and using a 2.4 ohms head at 4.2- 4.5 volts. That did the trick but I sold the Twists because:
Dial very narrow/ smooth and not easy to turn. Voltage numbers very hard to read/ invisible. Button occasionally sticks.
I just got my Spinners today and it seems the above issues are resolved + the 1300 mah Spinner is the same size as the 1000 mah Twist.
