Cut the wires on each side of the battery, splice them together, and get a 5V power supply that puts out 2 Amps (2,000 mA).

Wow! I NEVER thought of that! Quasi, you da man! Iv had one of those types laying around for months and HATED it because that battery was regulating the voltage to 3.7v. Im sooooooo doing this when i get home!

I like the heavy rubber boot that secures the pwr cord into the PT. I do have one without this boot and can tell ya it will fail-just a matter of time....
I use my 5.1v manual PT (Vaporite KR-808 with rubber pwr cord boot) for a 510 atty/cartos just need adaptor. Killer HV vapor and TH! Great atty cleaner as well.

Where did you get your PT from?

80 bucks!8-o wow better be variable power for that!:p:D

It is variable power dependent upon the power source you plug into. USB power is 3.6V and wall outlet is 5V.

The VP-PT is the best PT I have seen, read about, and ultimately purchased. This PT just has amazing clouds of vapor and is built very well. I purchased the special car usb adapter to give it enough power to work correctly. I use it at my computer at home and now while I drive around.

 ...said that in gest, didnt know that PT offered the dual voltage abillity. I do know the 5v may be spoiling me, seems more able to bring out subtle flavors in certain juices and/or my taste needs change during the day.
Kinda pushing me to look into variable power PV devices....
