If I were him, I would save up another $20 or $30 to get something just a little more than just cheap.
just my opinion, but wanted to say that because in my experience, what happens is, you will almost always want something better, and end up selling the old stuff for less than what you paid if you can find a buyer at all for cheaper stuff, and then turn around spending more in the long run to get what you should have in the first go round lol. but if you can find something good for cheap, then go for it!
