I really like my Riva (like an eGo) that I got from Liberty Flights. I also like my eGo. I've recently tried Boge 510 LR Cartomizers (rated at 2.0 ohm) and I like the warmth, vapor and flavor better than regular 510 cartos. Next, I want to try the 510 Dual Coil Cartos. I use my Riva or eGo when I'm on the go. So far, using the 2.0 ohm 510 cartos on the Riva or eGo has not caused any problems. I need to learn more about the dual coil cartos. The ones I've found have a resistance of 1.5 ohms and I'm a little afraid they may run too hot.

So, back to your original question - I think you already have a great PV. You can try using lower resistance attys or cartomizers (either 510, 306 attys or cartos - or 510 dual coil cartomizers) on it to give a different experience. If you want to try 808 cartos, you can get an adapter to try them on your eGo. The 808 cartos come in different ohm ratings. I've done this with 808 cartos (also known as 302) 2.0 ohm, with good results.

When I'm at home, I like V4L's 5-volt passthrough with V4L's CoolCarts. (I use a USB wall outlet adapter to power it, so there is no danger in maybe ruining my computer.) Their stock batteries are alright and I like V4L's WOW cartos with them. I ordered a V4L kit that came with a passthrough about a year ago. The batteries were very inconsistent, but I really liked the passthrough. A few weeks ago, I ordered one of V4L's new Diamond series batteries and it works well with the WOW or ClearCart cartomizers. I like using it with the WOW cartos a little more than with the CoolCarts (WOW cartos are lower resistance).

Some of the MODs that are being produced today, especially bottom-feeder types, are something else I'd like to try. They can be used with atomizers or cartomizers. I hate direct dripping, but I think this method of feeding the atomizer without using any filler, yields the best flavor, so if I had the money, I'd love to get a bottom feeder, variable voltage wooden box mod. Man, some of those are beautiful pieces of skilled craftsmanship IMO. But that will have to wait some other day for me. A bottom feeding mod will let you squeeze a couple drops from a little bottle of e-liquid inside the box so it lands where the atty can "drink." You'll have to give a little squeeze for every few drags, but that is much less hassle than dripping because you can then feed the atty without having to use both hands.

I'm pretty happy with cartomizers. Some people hate them because they can taste the filler. I'm careful to keep the filler wet and so far, so good. I do think direct dripping on a regular atomizer provides the best flavor, but I personally can't tell much difference. Direct dripping is just too much hassle for me.

I've been wanting to try Bloog (an 808 cartomizer device), but they are kind of expensive and whenever I check their website, they never seem to have everything stocked. I just learned about a new company that is supposed to have the same product as Bloog. The company is Smokeless Image and the e-cig is called Volt. I think I will at least order some cartomizers to try.

Well, there are some options for ya. Good luck in finding your "sweet spot."

Janet gave you a great answer.

I'll just suggest that you think about what would be "even better" for you. More mAh? Greater voltage? Better taste. Different shape or size.

I wanted more mAh and more voltage, so I got the 1100 mAh true 3.7V KGO ($45 from Hoosier E-Cig Supply). I already had the best tasting e-cig (IMO): the Boge Leo ... and the best-performing small e-cig: the Bloog MaxX Fusion.

If you are considering a mod, you may want to start your journey by perusing The Wonderful World of Mods in the ECF Library. [The writer is a bit full of himself, but just ignore those aspects.;-)]
