So over the last month I've found myself dripping more and using my tube mods more (I have a Nemesis clone and a Stingray clone) and while I really enjoy them I want a flashier tube for when I want to feel nifty. I want to find some out there looking mods, things that aren't just copper tubes in appearance, I'm not saying I need a lightsaber, but I just want something with a little show. I though the Stingray would do the trick, but I'm not real happy with the firing button on mine, that might be an area I could improve it, but I'm just not certain.

I want to buy another mod, call it acquisition syndrome if you must, but I just want to find something more "me." I just don't know where to start. I thought I would just browse the fave mods threads, but quite a few are either not named clearly, or just a clean tube. Neither is 100% helpful in my search. Any suggestions on a good place to compare many different models and maybe get a good look at the oddities around our hobby? Heck even a good forum recommended distributor would be helpful.

Where do you think I should start my search for a nice new toy?

just browse fasttech mech mods. they have like everything listed on there almost other than super obscure custom stuff. Then when you find one you like, just search it in google or the forums if u want to find the authentic version or similar. From browsing there found a couple nice ones like the Tesla Shotgun, and the elementmods droplet kit

There's a lot of crazy custom mech mods out there, a quick google search will show lots of neat stuff, for classy and just a good product I'd recommend the super t stuff. Btw just out of curiosity what's the problem with your stingray button? I didn't like mine either but a good cleaning and polishing made it super smooth if yours is sticking or crunchy.

About the Stingray... it does stick a bit, and just feels "tacky" the other big issue is more with the RDA I wanted to pair it with, my Legion's post is just a bit too long and I can get it to sit flush and still have room for my battery. I can put it together, but with the bottom just barely past what I would call the "unsafe wobble zone" just a bit disappointing. Last night I did some adjusting and gave in. My Mutation x2 is now on the Stingray and I'll most likely clean the switch (drat you tired me for not thinking about it last night!) and see how it goes. I really like the Legion, so it's on my Nemesis now, but this won't last... My Nemesis is black with brass caps, and the Legion is black and copper and this mix match bothers me. If I had a copper ring for my Samurai RDA it would reside on the Stingray and most everything would be gravy. Now I'm wondering if those copper replacement parts are back in stock...

Thanks for the advice! I've browsed fasttech and think I know a couple to start looking for. (Onyx looks very nice) All this stems from having found twice as many RDA's that I enjoy than I have mods to run them on..

Got a related question. I'll try asking it here instead of starting a new thread: What kinda lubricant would you guys recommend for threads on the bottom (switch assembly) of your mods? My Nemesis is being a pain to adjust to RDA's of different sizes, adjusting the switch assembly's location requires me to take the assembly apart to get it where I want it and then put the switch back together inside the mod. any way to make that a little smoother would be appreciated.
