I'd say be careful with vanilla. I got one off eBay that was advertised as copper, but it turned out to have copper plated steel contacts.

I got a cartel from eBay that really is copper, with copper contacts. It's heavy, too, with a thick tube and excellent threads. Infinite is supposed to make a great cartel clone, with silver plated brass contacts.

I have heard alot of good things about this mod. On a similar thread I saw a link to them on ebay for $40ish and I might pull the trigger once I get home. I could have it in hand by Monday!

How is the switch working for you on the penny?

the switch is GREAT, now the top pin is a different conversation, LoL. The little screw for adjusting for battery rattle is pretty loose in the pin and takes a few times to get it to fire. It takes 2-3 times to get it right but other than that I LOVE it !!

Why, is there a problem with the switches ?

Not that I am aware of. I just wanted your opinion on it. I haven't had a mod yet where the switch has been awesome so just gathering info! :) (and trying to get one with an awesome switch!)

This thing is immediate, as soon as you press the button those coils are singing ! My Satin Brass King from Infinite probably has a better feel though.

Honestly if you just save a little longer you can get good authentics for around 150, the vanilla comes in brass, copper, and ss and is always available. The bcv surfrider and xxix are 2 of the best mods under 200$ imho.

Being patient was the best decision I ever made, authentics blow clones outta the water most of the time. Also youll love your mod and be proud of it. I started with clones and wish I would've just waited, the first 3 mechs I bought were clones and I could've gotten a good authentic instead.

Yes some clones are just as good as the authentic but its extremely rare and they are usually more expensive. For example, the only clone I've found that matchs the real thing is my shenxi panzer. It has a slightly lower vd because of the contacts, but I paid 85 bucks for it.

There will always be clones, and I have no problem with it, I'm poor and I understand people can't afford 200$ mods but if your even buying a clone once a month you could have an authentic every 3 or 4. I would rather have 3 good authentics than 100 clones.
