I have had my provari V2 for sometime now. I have had constant troubles since I got it with vapor production, flavor. It's now throwing codes E3 and E4 and giving me little to no vapor. At first I assumed it was because I was new, and I tried so many different attachments. I am now tired of it, and want something that will just work and well.
I would appreciate anyones insite or suggestions on a new VV mod. There have been lots of new ones coming out lately. The one I am most interested in is the joyetech evic, if anyone knows about this or any others I would appreciate your input or suggestions as what to order. Please I am not bashing provari in anyway, I prob got a lemon, and have spent numerous hours emailing them but they can never give me any good input aside cleaning, which I have done.
Thanks in advance.

What would make you think another VV/VW device will solve your problem? What are you using on top of the Provari? What is the resistance being used? What voltage are you using? It would seem you are using something that is too low a resistance for the voltage you have it set at... Have you tried to send it back to Provape to have them actually check it out?

First, I'd second muzicheads suggestion, and send the ProVari in for repair. It's not an inexpensive device, and I'm sure they'll take care of repairing it if it's sent in.

As for other mods... the eVic is a nice looking device, but not my style. I honestly don't want to be able to plug my mod into my computer and check how many vaps I took, two weeks ago. Nice display, nice device, but again, not my style.

I purchased an iTaste MVP, for around $70 and I'm very happy with it. Gives me three full days of charge, solidly built, and I generally prefer box shaped devices to tube. No amazing features (well, you CAN use it to recharge your cell phone, but that's not really what I purchased it for), but it's solid, and provides plenty of power for a long time.

It is limited to 4.8v, but being I generally vape at around 4.3-4.5, that's been a non-issue.

I also purchased a Vision Spinner, which arrived yesterday, for those days I'm only going out for a few hours. It's lighter then the MVP, provides an excellent vape, and supposedly lasts for around 7-8 hours (literally just got it last night, so I can't speak for battery life, but it's providing excellent strong vape!)

People seem to love the Vamo.

Go on YouTube and view all of the videos reviews of devices your interested in! What works for ME may not be what works for you.

What's great is, there are a LOT of choices, in a wide range of prices.

What juice delivery system are you using? A Provari is not a magic wand, there are many variables to taste and vapor production.
With the error codes you are getting, you need to send your device in to Provape to get it fixed.

The provari has a wide range of usage and the error codes are for protection where the atomizer is out of range specified for use...
either by design, or due to disfunctional atomizers.

If you are using atomizers that are below the specified range; i.e. sub 1.0 Ohms, you have the wrong device.

If you want to fire that low resistance levels, you need a good mechanical device without amp limiters

Hurray another Itaste MVP Fan, I pulled the trigger on one two weeks ago and am very happy with it.

The Provari is the best of the best in the paramaters that it's designed for.
I have one and use it as a backup device because eventually all my other APV will fail on me and
my Trusty Provari is there to back me up.

1. You need quality batteries
2. You need an Atty/Clearo/Carto 1.8 Ohms and above (Maybe 1.3OHm but I wouldn't know because I haven't tried it.
3. You can't push out more than around 3 Amps.

1 Year Warranty and Paid Repair after that.

For the average Vaper the Provari is the best unit. It always fires, takes a beating, voltage is precise.

If you are into xtreme vaping than there are other choices.
Some of the Box Mods are really awesome.

The VAMO is the answer. It has a 5 amp switch so any carto/atty/tank will work on it. It is Power Regulated variable wattage not variable volt which is a big plus. It goes all the way up to 15 watts which is the highest on the market that I am aware of. It uses the same batteries you already have. It costs $40.

Not the highest theres groove with 5 amps...also send the ProVari to have Provape look at it... should still be in warranty u got the best in ur hand now... variable watts not really a big plus u can still burn some cartos... just my 2 cents...

You definitely are perfect for the Provari...
Thanks for all the replies, I use joyetech 2.2 ohm atomizer, Vivi nova 2.4 ohm normally, smoketech dct 3.0 ohm, boge carto, boge carto tank from phiniac. all 3.0 I normally vape at the charted amounts. Rarely do I go over 5.0 volts.
The only thing you miss, which is just a luxury... VW that allows you to set your wattage and it adjusts to any of those resistances within their wattage range... like up to 10 watts i.e.... set and forget.
imo the current choices with VV VW (Vamo, Zmax's all a lot less price and good value) do not have the quality value of a Provari.... in my case I had all of them at the same time so ... but i used VW a lot... the VW's do have mulit meter functions too.

for the price they are worth it... many love the Vamo, I love my SS Zmax with RMS mode (8th function V2 models)...
I watched a lot of reviews, and they say the quality doesn't quite measure up. But still
You're set... send your Provari in and keep it... buy a VV VW.

You may have to press them to get them to honor the warranty. I had a problem with my ProVari and they weren't going to do anything about it at first. After a lot of talks back and forth and a few forum post here they are finally doing the right thing. Took them about a week to come around though.
