Now that Ikenvape is back up and running there is the Dbox PuriTank => IKV DBOX Pyrex PuriTank BCG

$19.99 Uses Evod coils. Comes with a stainless drip tip but can use any standard one too. Doesn't state capacity but that has to be at least a 3.5 ml tank.

Waiting on vape mail to show up...

My problem with the Dbox is the same problem I have with ProTanks and Mini PT's. The fact that you have a glass tank with zero side wall protection. One wrong ding against it or a drop and crash it's gone. The ARO and the Hypertank/G50 are the only Pyrex BCC's on the market with that sidewall protection of the tank. At 22mm Diameter and 5ml capacity the Hypertank and the G50 look better on the bigger mods, while the ARO can still look nice on eGo sized batteries. Since I use both size batteries I went with the ARO for versatility.

A lot of people share your concern about large amounts of unprotected glass. I know the Pyrex of old (used for cookware, etc) was generally quite thick and probably difficult to crack. The Aro does have excellent flavor. The glossy finish though did not match the matte black of my eGo battery.

Not in my experience. I have an ARO BCC and an EVOD, filled with the same juice, and the EVOD produces significantly more/better flavor than the ARO. Like the previous poster, the protanks are not for me because of the glass and the form factor. I had high hopes for the ARO, but it's not living up to them.

This is true.

Ikenvapemail arrived today!!! I did find out that IkenVape upgraded the glass in the PuriTank to something thicker to reduce the potential for damage. I can't tell you how thick it is to the mm, but just based on observation it's definitely thicker than the walls on a ProTank. Overall it's a lot heavier than a ProTank too. Ikenvape said the increase in the wall thickness dropped the capacity of the tank from 4 ml's to under 3.85 ml's. The draw is a bit tighter on it too, for the people who feel the PT's are too airy.

Really nice. For some reason it makes a PT look cheap by comparison. And I like the fact that I can use any standard 510 drip tip I want with it. I'm careful with my stuff so I'm not that worried about breakage. I haven't' killed a glass tank... yet.

Uh-oh, you just tempted fate. Incoming broken glass tank in ....3.....2.....1.... (I hope I am wrong.)

Seriously, I already went through the phase where if I was gonna break something it would have happened. When I started with basic eGo batteries, the one thing I learned to hate about round tooby things is they always fell over and rolled away. After the one that fell over on the kitchen counter, rolled off the counter, hit the floor - still rollin' - and ended up under the stove and all they way to the back of it... Let's just say that was the last time that happened.

My next purchase, shortly after that, was a box mod with all those flat edges and right angles. :D

If it's round these days - and the closest thing I have that fits that definition is a Tesla with 3 flat sides and 3 rounded edges - it gets put down on it's side when it isn't in my hand. I really don't like round tooby things.
