looking for a recommendations on a good cigarette replacment

Im looking for some user recommendations on a good ecig to replace cigarettes when i cant or dont want to smoke.

My preference would be as close to the "real deal" without being the real thing.

The problem with getting an Ecig that looks like the real thing is that the batteries run out often. In the case you can purchase a kit that includes a portable charging case (PCC) and carry multiple batteries that charge inside the case. Blu, Greensmoke and many others offer these solutions. I didn't care to have it look like a real smoke, in fact I like the look of the Ego kits because when I'm out if I get bothered by a security guard I just tell him its my vapour asthma inhaler and that shuts them all down very quickly, I don't think I'd get away with that if the end lit up to look like a cigarette All the best !

If you want a good ecig that has the appearance of a real cig the brand recommended most often is the volt. I have not personally tried it but it has a good following and most users say it beats out every other brand out there.. worth a look anyway.


However, what i really read in your post is that you want a device that will replace cigarettes and be like a cigarette. I can tell you, although you can find a device that gives you satisfaction similar to a cigarette - no e cig will replace the real thing. That is not to discourage you - but to get you thinking about e cigarettes and vaping in a different way.

Vaping is NOT smoking and as such it just isnt the same. For most it is better but different from smoking. What vaping can do for you though is replace the nicotine in a way that is familiar and satisfying. Vapor tastes better, is cleaner, often more socially accepted and can cost less than smoking. It can come close to feeling like a cigarette but will never actually be exactly the same in feeling

So to get you "close to the real deal" you will probably want to skip the cigarette look alikes. They simply dont have enough power to give you an experience that is close to smoking. Having said that - many many people use them and love them.

but I am sensing you might be a heavy smoker and most heavy smokers are not satisfied for very long on the ciggy minis. they have to be charged often as they only last about 2 hours on a charge and your options for cartridges, cartomizers and the like are limited.

I would suggest you look into Ego style batteries. There are options for variable vaping (they allow you to get a bigger hit with some juices and tanks) like the ego twist and spinner. These style batteries come in 1100mah and less. the 1100 will give you about 10 hours vaping on one charge. They will accept cartomizers, clearomizers and tanks and there are hundreds of options of these.

My personal set up is an ego or kgo (just another brand) battery with a vivi nova mini tank. The tank holds about 2 ml of juice and I usually go through three of them in a day (different flavors). This has been a very good setup for me. I was a 2 pack per day smoker of pall mall menthols.

if your smoking was anything like mine - I would suggest you look into 24 mg juice to start. it will give you enough of a kick that you will feel satisfied without the smoke.

starter kits for the ego style batteries can be purchased in many shops. if you are not certain if you willl stick with it - dont spend a lot of money. I bought my starter kit of 2 ego batteries and charger at virgin vapor for 45 bucks. vv also sells vivi nova tanks. (about 15 bucks for the tank set of tank and 3 replacement heads).

That would be a good place to start. and I am sure someone will be along shortly to sell you on variable vaping (the twist and spinner I mentioned earlier). I believe starter sets for the twist are abut 65-80 bucks.

Yep. If you must have something that looks like a cigarette (or is that relative size anyway), I'd recommend Smokeless Image Volts. The 65mm batteries are 220 mah (about 2 hours of vape time), the 78mms are 320 mah (about 3 hours of vape time). Customer service is great.
