Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape - The cheaper option. Still good!
Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape - The better option for a bit more. 2600mah battery built in!

I would like to try and twist your arm about batteries though. In a good regulated device (basically anything people have tried and tested on the forums), using good batteries (sony vct's in my experience), with a good charger (http://101vape.com/batteries-chargers/141-nitecore-intelecharger-i2.html) you really should not have any battery problems. I have been vaping regulated devices with removable batteries for a long time. As long as you are smart about it, use good batteries with a smart charger in a trustworthy device, you honestly have nothing to worry about.

I do have a bad experience though! When I first picked up my Vamo a long time ago, I got it in a cool kit that came with this charger and two 18350's. I charged up the batteries first thing and then took them off the charger, hooked them in the Vamo, and next thing I know my protank is flooding out of control.. A brand new protank at the time. So I put my Iclear 16 in and POP go the coils immediately when I try to fire. Turns out the charger was notorious for overcharging batteries and as a result it ruined the coils in two of my tanks.

My point is to just do your homework! Don't do some on the spot purchase of a product you have not looked into as far as safety goes. There was plenty of evidence online that showed how bad the charger I bought was, but I just didn't do my research and I payed the price. If you are interested in getting an awesome regulated device with a removable battery after my stories I would look into these:

Batteries : Sony VTC5 18650 30A 2600mah Flat Top <-- first off these are the best and most reliable batteries!
DNA 30 watt box mod by Cloupor <-- $70 for a 7-30 watt device, and the battery can be charged internally if you want, or removed!

Also as a nautilus user, if you haven't yet pick up some BVC's! Atomizer head for Aspire Nautilus BVC (V2)
they are awesome! Compatible in both the full nautilus and the mini and they really improve the vape!

That, doing the research for whatever product, may be the *most* important thing. People nearly always regret spur of the moment decisions.

I wonder, about the charger that overcharged, if that's why they say to "rest" the batteries after charging, before using in your mod -- also, I usually check the bat voltage when I first install a battery, to make sure it's charged as I *think* it is -- I'd hate to replace it, run out the door, and THEN find that it wasn't really a charged battery -- or even worse, as you found, an overcharged battery that proceeded to wreak havoc on whatever's on top. If you're in enough of a hurry to run out the door, you surely don't have time for that noise! :D I got a Nitecore i4 when I got my batteries, and it's done a fine job, considering it's not the most expensive one available. For the money, it may be the best "economy" model.
