Anyone have a good watermelon receipe? I use TPA flavorings and I cant seem to get it right. It always seems to have a perfume taste. One of my favorite juices is vapedudes watermelon drip and I really want to make something similar

Are the tpa flavors not good, or just some of them? Any other really good capella flavors
Some are good, others not so much, there isnt a flavor company where all their flavors are the best. You kind of have to mix and match. I would recommend ecigexpress.com to order flavors from as they have all the major players for flavor under 1 roof. That way you can save on shipping and try some other brands.

Tip from Hoosier that I tried, is add a few drops of raspberry to your watermelon, it really brightens it up. I add a drop of lemon or lemonaid sometimes too. bnrk
i have some tpa marachino cherry that is very perfumey. going to try tfa next go around.
The trick to the Maraschino Cherry is to stay very low. I use it in some of my mixes at 1 drop to each 10 mls of liquid and it is very good. many flavors will be perfumey if you use too much.
I had forgotten but raspberry does help with the watermelon from TPA/TFA.

I accidentally mixed watermelon and vanilla custard (got the bottles mixed up), very curious mixture.
I am searching for a flavor and/or recipe for a fruit tasting watermelon - not candy. I have tried tpa, lorann's, and FA. They all taste like jolly rancher. One of them actually tasted awful - and I poured it out. That is rare for me.

I find TPA/TFA flavors to be way too alcoholish or chemical too most of the time, but on the flip side, they have a wide variety of certain flavors that cant be found elsewhere. I wonder if the off taste is because they are based as a fragrance instead of for food? not sure?? There are a few favorites i have from them, just definetly not fruits. Try capellas or Flavor West - I love both of them for watermellons and both are super easy to work with. Loranns is the best for the jolly rancher candy type of watermellon though (just wish you could get it without that dang pink food coloring!)
I mixed up some FA Watermelon / Menthol / Koolada. It is spectacular (to me). First day - tasted a little "rind" flavor. Day 2 - awesome. Day 3 - it will be gone by end of day. Must make bigger bottle
