I think you're referring to the pic in GC's signature. If I'm not mistaken, it's a Chuck with custom graphics (really nice I might add!!). It's a battery modification, but maybe it's a little early for that?
It's interesting to see that many VK users thought they would really like tobacco flavors if they previously used regular tobacco, (rather than a menthol or something else). They found that many of the other flavors are surprisingly very satisfying.
I only recently tried the kamel, (been smoking Now Menthol for the last 20+ years) and I find it to be great. I wouldn't say it tastes exactly like a Camel but it is certainly among the best 2 or 3 choices I've tried. Very satisfying.
Like many others here you will need to try a few flavors to see what suits you. Steve makes that very easy to do with bonus stuff he includes in the orders. You just have to make that first leap.
It is, I PM'd him about it rather than "advertise" in V4Ls forum, to a degree. I'd say try reg e-cigs before looking at any mods, and Vapor King is the BEST IMO to be your first 
I'm a tinkerer by nature, I have to have everything I can get my little hands on, the VK is right behind going into mods IMO You won't be disappointed at all

There are a lot of "flavor" threads here, however, taste is very subjective and you will have to experiment. The V4L crew is very generous in providing samplers - just let them know in the ordering "comment" section about your taste/strength preferences for samplers.

I love the Peach Cobbler, Virginia and Cappuccino, also the Pear is really, really good, too. Pomegranate is very tart/sweet and delicious. Pomegranate and Blueberry tasted a little bit perfumy to me at first, but that went away and they started tasting really good after that.
Kant is good, French Pipe is oh so smooth and delicious, very pipe tobaccoey flavor, but for some reason I really love that stuff. I always liked the smell of a good pipe smoke.
What I don't like one day, I do like the next time I try it. Also, when you first start doing this, it is a little bit strange, you need to take a few puffs when you put on a new cart and blow it out without inhaling it, to "prime" the cartomizer, I believe they put something on there at the factory to make it stay damp? or something like that and it tastes like chemicals to some people when they put on a fresh cartridge. It burns off, though and pretty soon the real flavor will come through. Some of the carts, I notice it more than others.

I love my auto and manual batteries both the same. Pugzley that bad taste on a fresh cart you're thinking of is only on brand new atomizers, not cartomizers
PCC's are a must have IMO, they charge a battery about 5 or so times and then you charge the case itself via USB

I can taste something weird on my chocolate,coconut and caramel cartos at first, but after awhile, they start tasting ok, I don't notice anything odd when I refill them.
I don't notice anything on the fruit flavors at first, though, I wonder why that is? Or is it just my taste buds acting up on some flavors?

Are the PCC's different sizes/capacity's? Also, if a certain color or style is out of stock, about how long does it take for the item to restock?
It's easier to tell you what I didn't care for. I could take or leave vanilla and didn't care for ice cream at all, and I eat ice cream every day. BUT there are a lot of flavors I haven't tried so don't let me sway you.
