Just mixed up a little taster, 1.5ml 20mg nic 50/50 VG/PG and added 5 drops FA black pepper.

Actually, pretty pleasant. Nice Black pepper flavor, but it doesnt taste spicy.

I then added 2 drops FA Violet to the bottle, and am currently dripping it to develop an opinion.

First impression tho is favorable. If you've ever eaten edible flowers (like Nasturtium) they have a peppery flavor, and a flowery note, this vape seems to pull that off rather nicely.

Hmmm.. interesting

Violet? Hmmm. One juice I have gives me a definite hint of rosewater sometimes. I don't know where that comes from, and thought perhaps bergamot. Could be a nice complement to the pepper.

I'm definitely going to include some pepper in my next juice order. Making the extract myself was an interesting exercise, and not something I want to do every couple of weeks.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought, "YUCK!"

But here I am thinking of trying to make a Bloody Mary vape.
Tomato with a little celery, and an even smaller hint of onion, bell pepper, lime, and black pepper, LOL! (Maybe even with a dash of beef flavor.) Not sure how to go about the vodka part, though.

I just spent some time checking out FlavourArt's flavors and they have all of the above. Hmmm....

I have a feeling this will either be really good, or really nasty! If I do go for it, I will be sure to report the results. :)

Figured I'd link over to the latest on the pepper front.

Looking for opposite to Vape wizard.

Since FA Black Pepper wasn't the answer to the question, I'm not going to talk about it over there any more.

The FA pepper flavor in pure VG, 4 drops in 1/2ml, produced a pleasant peppery taste, somewhat sweet, but not anything harsh, and definitely no bite.

I'm going to either try that juice from VapeRite, or some flavor from TPA or someplace else.

WP, have you tried just boiling the pepper in as little distilled water as possible? I always put black pepper, and other stuff, in the boiling water I use to make pasta. It absorbs right in. And, many ejuices have me distilled water.

Love the Bloody Mary idea, or Bloody Bull, or hmm... Clamato. When making a Bloody Mary type drink w/ Clamato I just call it a Bloody Clam. All these things need Black Pepper!

Oh, Jalapeno flavor was mentioned earlier. Now we can make Nachos! But oh, they must be pickled jalapenos to make nachos!

My suspicion is that the concentration would be too weak, even then, unless I did a large quantity, and then cooked it down after extraction. People I know who do herbal extractions almost always use alcohol for maximum effect, and even with PGA, I didn't get a lot of flavor.

IOW, it sounds like too much work to me! :D

I'm going to get a sample from Todd at VapeRite in a bit. Gotta wait a bit cuz I have a lot of juice on hand and I have to budget a little.
