My wife and I have both been off "analog" cigarettes for several weeks now (5 weeks for me and 3 for her) and had been using Vision Spinners and eGo Twist style batteries. In celebration of one month without an analog, I rewarded myself with a Provari... and I love it. My wife likes using it better than the Spinners but thinks it is just too big, heavy and fat for her. Any suggestions on a variable voltage mod out there that would be close to the output of the Provari but is compact and lightweight. I know about the Provari Mini but honestly I think it is just not that much smaller or lighter.

Thanks for your help!

Your not gonna find something smaller then a provari.. The only thing I can think of is a vaper shark dna 30. My vamo in 18350 mode is a good amount taller then my provari in 18500 which says alot. Even tho its not regulated a reo could be the awnser as well.

I love love love the Itaste vv/vw. I love it so much I have 5 (I keep 2 in a box, unopened). 101 vapes has them for a VERY good price, decent shipping. I love the white one (kind of a pearly white) and the chameleon (black with sparkles.)

It is a passthrough, so you can vape while charging and it has a built in ohms reader. AWESOME device and looks classy! All my womyn friends love them, too! It is square, so no rolling off the table!

Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape

Here is a size comparison:

I love love love the Itaste vv/vw. ...

I have Both an iTaste VV and some Spinners/Twists.

The iTaste is Very Nice. And something that I Never Thought about, But I Like A Lot, is it Doesn't Roll of the Desk when you Put it Down.

A Small Thing, Granted. But a Very Nice Feature all the Same.

Not sure what you mean by small. But this is lightweight and nice.
Protovapor.com

on getting off the cigs. Best thing would be to show your wife some pics of different mods and see what she thinks. If you have a good B/M nearby you could stop in and have a look at some. If she's going to use it then she needs to like it.

I don't think I would spend that much cash on the Protovapor, I would just get her a mini-Provari if I was going to spend that kind of money. It is time tested and you don't have to wait 15-20 days after payment. I don't trust stuff like that. It should be shipped as soon as you pay for it, or shortly thereafter. "Built to order" sounds like a one man operation. Give me your money and I will build it? Maybe.

Also, why would a new (ish) vapor need that much power? Seems like an "advanced" set up for sub-ohmers, not a simple step up from a Spinner or Twist.

Plus, as a woman, I think it is kind of UGLY. It doesn't have EGO threading, just 510 threading... Aside from the sub-ohm capability, you get more from the Innokin.

I am curious as to why you would recommend such a product to someone who is clearly looking for a "compact and lightweight" device and who has been vaping for only one month. Sounds like overkill.

You don't always have to get the newest thing...sometimes a proven product is much more reliable and is a better bargain, in more ways than one.

I simply posted it for them to look at. Not as a suggestion. If it's not what they have in mind no problem. Yes they're still learning and it may be overkill. But then the Provari is also overkill IMO. I looked at and tried the Provari and it wasn't for me. Nothing against the owners of them. I've used spinners and a Vamo and liked them. Now I have a XPV DNA30 for out and a Magneto mech for home. Down the road who knows what I'll have. Down the road they don't know what they'll have either. I don't look down on anyone for what they chose to use as long as they like it. If someone sticks with spinners great and if they move to other things also great.

Here's the bottom line for me.

The absolute very best devise on the market is the one you like and the one that keeps you away from smoking.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I showed my wife pictures of the iTaste VV V3 and she really liked it so I ordered her one in white. She really likes the fact that it is square so it won't roll off the nightstand or coffee table every time she lays it down

I Think She will like it.

One thing that Others can Probably answer better than myself, because I have a v2.0. But does the iTaste vv 3.0 have both RMS and AMS Modes?

If so, you should Familiarize yourself on how to Switch between the Two. Because they Hit Differently. At Least to me they Do.

BTW - The Non-Rolling Factor is Very Cool.

I have no idea what RMS means, but I LOVE my Itaste!

OP: Your wife is going to LOVE her device!! All my toppers look great on it, too. Even cheapo clearos look fabulous!

RMS = Root Mean Squared. And it is a Mathematical way of Calculating a Mean Value.

I had a Great Pictorial Explanation how RMS is Calculated, but I Can't seem to find it.

Here is Info though with some Related Numbers.
