I haven't had any personal experience with the e-power however I have seen many recommend them. you should see good battery life... might want to pick up a couple extra. as a side note if and or when you decide to look at picking up a mod some use those batts. you might want to try cartos instead of the cart/atty set up but not a big deal what ever works for you. over all should be a solid PV for you.

It's a good unit. I use one as a backup to my VV gear. I think it works well with DC's but I prefer the ressurectors from CCV

Not until you have a problem with one. The batts that come with the unit didn't last me long.
Yep I've seen the performance charts and Trustfires, at 50% discharge, fall off a cliff...I own them also and have noticed they don't perform anywhere close to the AW. For a few extra bux a worthwhile investment IMHO.
Batteries for the E-Power should last you quite a while before needing replacement. I use the 14650s supplied by Smoktech for the E-Power and I bought some more: Trustfire protected 14650 blues so I can charge a batch of batteries on the weekend. Trustfire Blues work great. They cost me about $4 apiece from Deal Extreme.
I recommend Hoosier as a supplier for the E-Power 14650 because he stocks it with the blue LED switch electronics. There have been many problems reported with E-Power 14650 equipped with the white LED switch electronics.

I can guarantee you that a 14670 will not fit the charger supplied with the E-Power 14650.
You may find the dual coil a little cool on the E-Power 14650. The single coil Smoktech 1.7 ohm LR XL will provide more and warmer vapor with this 3.7V 510 mod. The single coil 2.0 ohm LR XLs will produce a little less vapor and run cooler. I use both. Lots of dealers sell the Smoktech LR XL cartos.
The YL-103A supplied with my E-Power 14650 is a very tight fit for the protected Smoktech and TrustFire Blue 14650s, which measure 69mm in length. There isn't a mm to spare. Unless you are using a 14670 that actually measures 67mm (because it isn't a protected battery) I can't imagine it fitting the charger.
The E-Power uses 510 fittings and is considered an eGo mod. One of the mods is use of standard Li-ion rechargeable batteries.
