Looking for ideas on a quad coil build with 26G nichrome.

Been trying to get a quad coil in my W3 around .3 - .2 but having some trouble with the right size diameter. It's not hard for me to build the coils haha I just can't seem to build a coil that doesn't have a really low resistance, I probably went through 10 different coils to try make it around 1-1.5 ohms for 1 coil I just can't seem to figure it out..

So Im taking a break and figured I'd ask around and see what you guys have for an opinion on that haha.

You're going to have a hard time making high resistance coils with 26 gauge Nichrome. Its resistance per inch is low so you're going to have to use too much IMO per coil. I would try something like 28 gauge Kanthal, which I think is about equal in resistance to 29 gauge Nichrome. 27 gauge Kanthal works very well for me in dual coil 0.5 ohm micro coil builds.
