Looking for information on Amp Limits for Regulated Mods

I have been thinking about amp limits on regulated mods today and am wondering if any devices actually have a "hard" amp limit such as a resettable circuit breaker or fuse(dna devices excluded...have read about dna 200 boards needing fuse replacement) or if device Amp Limits only refer to when the wiring, pcb components, 510, battery terminals, or other some other particular part will fail ?

afaik, they all use the electronics to shut down the output. No fuse, circuit breaker, and, hopefully, no failure! Just shut down and won't fire.

must regulated devices have components in the circuitry to limit amp draw. fuses, breakers resistor ect to prevent function outside a set of parameters.

BUT, regardless of the tech, the main safety device on any mod is the Human Brain.. We all know how prone, that is to failure.
