Kemo -- I sure enjoy reading your description of flavors.

Your keen sense of taste and writing talent helps me identify what it is I like about one flavor profile over another.....and I do enjoy many of NLV's profiles! I couldn't have described Harbor Nite better.

Tearose.......Ditto....I totally agree!!:thumb:

I just started vaping in July and the first and only drip attys I use are the Joye 510 that I get at DigitalCiggz. The only time I don't use them is when I am out an about and then I use an Evod. They are all I use and I do not use a drip shield. There is a learning curve and I still will tend to flood the atty when I switch flavors. But very few dry hits now and nothing tastes like Gold dripped. Just nothing.

G'morning psychics...

Scope, you got your wish! How cool is that! Fruit3 is such a great vape. It even appeals to those that typically say they don't care for fruit flavors in vaping.

Vapo, I'm a little stumped. After a couple of years of vaping all of NLV's vliquids, I have never once sensed that perfumy taste you're describing. I am familiar with it, but from other liquids, not ever NLV. I like your idea of leaving it capless for awhile to see if that helps. Litehouse is absolutely tobacco-y and hopefully soon you'll be able to vape it and enjoy it.

Gold
, :)wub:) will definitely grow on you! And yes, it's a gorgeous mix of flavors where none are easily identifiable.

I sort of giggled at your comment about a 510 atty (standard/shelf/retro/non-rebuildable... what ARE we calling them!) not being meant to be used for dripping. I started vaping with a 510 starter kit that came with only an atomizer, and I direct dripped for one year straight before ever even filling a carto! :D From what you described, the atty was over-filled. Also, you might want to experiment with using a longer drip tip.

I adore the PG/VG ratio in NLV's mixes. I agree that the vapor production is exactly where I like it to be, as well as the throat hit, and of course, the flavor. I'm also a short dragger.

Ok, I'm just short. :p

Tappulles - I have only dripped it on my 510 atty. It tastes exactly like warm apple pie right out of the oven and has a nice smooth tobacco finish for me. I do not find the cinnamon overpowering as I do in other vendors' apple pie liquids. This is another great NLV flavor!

When I first joined the PowWow thread oh so many moons ago, one thing that was incredibly helpful to me was the NLV family giving information just like this, my dear DKS. The recommendations for using certain NLV vliquids in a carto, a carto tank, or in a clearo was fantastic.

I saved that info and would love to share it with newbs to NLV. :)

So here ya go... :vapor:

To tank or not to tank,,, that is our question. It's certainly a matter of preference but many of us have found that:
There are four NLV flavors that you might not want to tank. Caramel Reef, SunDance, Renegade, and Bounty Hunter.

Tank:
Fruit3 will samba in a tank.
Twilite shines brightly.
Line Rider, tanked, seems to bring out more nuttiness.
Capparillo does not seem to change any.
Waffles in a tank or clearo.

Carto:
Litehouse is good in a carto or clearo. (Fare thee well, Litehouse)
Bounty Hunter in cartos, delish.

Clearo:
Renegade in a clearo is better than in a carto.
Twilite is ok in a carto and good in a clearo.
Waffles in a clearo or tank.
Litehouse is good in a (Vivi Nova) clearo.

Drip:
Sundance is better dripped on an atty than in a carto. (Fare thee well, Sundance.)

My Beloved GOLD has a tendency to change flavors around in a tank, but does not mute.
It brings pure awesomeness to any container.

With the addition of new flavors to NLV's line up, I'd love to hear from all of you as to your opinions on these flavors:

Caramel Reef

Cold Creek

Harbor Nite

Tappulles (my preference is a carto tank)

Tropikeyta

Vanilla Strait

While digging through my NLV stash, I found a 1/2 full 30ml bottle of Caramel Corral dated 08/2012.
What's the difference between Caramel Corral & Caramel Reef??
Is it a discontinued model or an upgraded/updated model?

btw- I'm a bottle 1/2 full guy! Not 1/2 empty! :D

LOL, hi Durangler. Caramel Corral was renamed Caramel Reef to suit the lighthouse theme of NiteLiteVapor. It's the same identical liquid. And a yummy one!! :D

NLV RULES ... that is all.

:)

Plus a bazillion this!! ^^^

We NLV.

Thank you, Katdarling! :)
I just snagged a mini jug of Line Rider, 30 mls of Capparillo & 30 mls of Caramel Corral .... errrr Caramel Reef,
with the new lower price, discount code & free shipping! :D

Is freezing a good way to store this? My stash is growing with all these discounts and sales... sheesh!

Freezing is absolutely fine. That's how I store mine. The temps of our freezers don't get low enuf to actually freeze the liquid, so don't be surprised when you take it out to "thaw". It'll be thick, but not frozen.
