The bat'tries are special because they can do 10.5 amps safely. Aws were previously the best at 6A. Which means you can't really go much lower than 1ohm. Which, don't get me wrong, is still a great vape but it caused me to swap batts quite often, especially seeing how they were only little batts to begin with. It was enough to make be kinda give up on small devices. But not anymore! As George Costanza would say, "I'm back, baby!!"
