Did you try to exchange it ? Seems like most vendors would stand behind something like that, or perhaps you bought it second hand?

No i bought it directly from svoemesto.

Here's why i didn't try to get it fixed.

1. The flavor was not that much better than the kayfun lite plus.

2. I hated that darn wall around the build deck made wicking a problem.

3. The screw heads woukd not trap 26 gauge wire.

I felt like i had been scammed and put it away. Later a guy offered me $75 and was happy to sell it

If money were no object I would buy authentic everything all day long. ;) As an experiment though my budget is sadly clone level. If he really likes them I'll save and get him authentics as a special gift.
If he likes a tighter draw the Kayfun V3 is nice, the V5 is too airy for a decent MTL vape without modification (restrictors).

V3 clone is what's on the way, I haven't ordered a V5 yet. I am very excited though and after showing him a video his interest is definitely piqued.

I agree, flavor is not that much better then the kfl, but not to many tanks are imo. I like it because it gave the option of a slightly more open draw and the ability to vape upwards of 30 watts (adjustable AF & adjustable JF makes this possible ). The wall thing is one I never heard of and not sure why it could create an issue because after a while one knows exactly the lenght to cut the wicks , for me personally, I cut them dry right at the first oring then stuff. This makes the correct lenght every time. Also I like it because you never have to worry about dislodging the wicks as you screw on chimney section, but I can understand what your saying as you might like seeing exactly where your wicks fall. About the 26g, use it all the time in my km3 , yes it does take a fingernail to help keep the end lead tucked, but don't see it as a con, because it's not something you really have to do that often. But your right, if i had gotten a damaged one that didn't perform as it should, I would feel ripped off and definitely wouldn't try another. I hate feeling ripped off, the couple of km3 clones I bought for my wife, that weren't even expensive, I'm still sour about.

I'm really, really hoping that the high ratings on the clone from FT don't let me down. Going that route when I bought a Velocity clone rda (4+ star with something like 400+ ratings) worked out ok, it's been a fantastic rda.

Building the KFL+ is simplicity itself.

The problem was not the length of tge tails
It is getting tge tails to sit on top of the Juice wells or it floods. I have poor eyesight and that stupid wall the tails are in the way and I couldn't see when i had the wells covered.

TRUST ME i am not the only one ____ing about that dumb wall. There were four or more complaining about that stupid wall in tge tootle puffers thread a couple months ago

As far as i am concerned Kayfun Mini V3 is a HUGE step backward.

I was happy to sell it and get it OUT OF MY LIFE!

you should look at the short 25 mm tall 22 mm diameter bellcap at FT.

As far as i am concerned that little $1.69 bell cap PEEFECTS the Kayfun lite plus.

Pull the build for rebuild or rewick.

Bottom fill without using fill port.

Since the coil is closer to the lips i think the flavor is almost vas good as the Goblin Mini.

It only has four pieces

Base

Barrel around build deck. Does not use the regular or nano chimney

Bell cap

Drip tip.

I use an elcheapo clone costs $7 and vastly superior to the Kayfun Mini V3.

I don't know, I still have a bunch of kfl and kfl plus (which my wife occasionally uses ) I personally don't use them anymore but find the km3 beats it in every single aspect. I just like the ability for slightly more power, slightly more AF, and better wicking and top fill. Now that bell cap sounds pretty good, might check it out.

Might be my lack of experience, but I think the Kayfun Mini v3 and the Kayfun 5 are extraordinary, I really like their quality, design, simplicity, flavour ...

Everyone is different I guess and maybe it's all about first impressions, especially if you happen to get a bad one (which for an authentic SvoeMesto is very rare) but I'm with you. Been vaping authentic kayfuns for close to 5 years and never had any issues at all. With my 3 km3's, I have had about 10 of their products and love every single one, especially the km3. I can't understand how someone can say it's a step back from previous versions when it has so many features that they do not. I find it extremely easy to wick, awesome flavor, good clouds, JC, top fill and adjustable AF (although it does work, it's not as good as other adjustable AF designs I have use). Wicks like a champ and can handle fairly hi wattages for rta's in that class. It's light and small and one of my favs. But eveyone is different and I have hated tanks that others swear by, so I totally understand. The k5 is the only version I don't have, but thinking about getting one soon, it's just I have so many hi end rta's right now. Also looking into the skyline at the moment

I never bought from 3F. I have done a LOT of business with FT.

I have gotten a few pieces of garbage (namely my Magma clone RDA, and Veritas RDA.

Virtually everything else has been very good. The one item that leaps to mind is a $5 Li-On battery pack that arrived DOA.

TGE Goblin Mini, Silverplay, and Kayfun bases have been every bit as good as authentic.

For me; my short Kayfun blows the doors off the Kayfun Mini V3 and costs almost 1/15th as much.

Every top fill Atty has PEED on me.

Bachelor Nano auth
Bellus auth
Kayfun Mini V3 auth.
Lemo V2 auth.

I use 70-80% VG and SHOULD NOT LEAK BUT THEY SIMPLY POUR!

been building a long time. I used and loved Goblin Mini V1, and Silverplay Nano, abd neither leaked a drop. Both of these had the airflow channels directly underneath the coils and almost everyone has leaking issues with them.

I even forced the Silverplay Nano and Orchid V3 to work in single coil mode without leaking.

. It's just hard to believe that every top fill tank you have had puddles, I mean I believe you, but it's just amazing how much we all differ in our experiences. While not all my rta's are TF, I do have and use many and none leak at all, in fact I don't own a tank that leaks what so ever. But I totally understand where your coming from on the km3 or any other tank for that matter, if i had bought my first one from 3f vapes (where I purchased 2 clones for my wife ) I would probably be dissing it as well, thinking perhaps all of them are similiar . I know yours was authentic and it's unsettling to spend a bit on an item that's defective but most likely because of that, you were never able to see its full potential or got it working perfectly? I also have yet to find an rta that totally blows away another. Now I'm talking about apples to apples, not comparing let's say a tf8 to a nautilus , I'm talking about basic mtl rebuildable rtas. Now I don't own them all, but I do have about 20 different ones and although I definitely like some more then others, I have yet to find one that is so blown away different. Imo they all have very similiar designs and believe 90 percent is build dependant

I can afford authentics, but I never buy them, unless they are Chinese authentics. What for? I have 2 K5 clones ($25 and $16), they work great. Do not see any incentive to buy the same thing for 5-10 times more.

I definitely believe you my friend, please don't think that. I know that even the same devices can be different. There is probably no way every single device can be perfect and operate the same. I'm just saying , that is probably why opinions differ so much, because of the sort of luck with that individual device.

I do. .. don't get me wrong, I like deals but I also like supporting the little guys, in fact in a way I am a little guy in my own business. I use to love all the mom and pops stores I remembered as a kid but now you whip things out fast, mass produce and do big volume and you can corner a market , which drives out the little guys. It happens, and in the end one or two companies own it all . I know that's busness and it really can't be helped because everyone wants to save money and that's the bottom line but I also try to help the little guys as well, especially in vaping and don't mind spending extra for a great product. I personally, and it may just be me or in my head, but feel it's like a sell out when people don't care about who makes a certain product, but only cares that it dirt cheap to buy. But people have to do what's best for them and by their own means and as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to vaping, it's all good as long as we stay vaping and never smoke

Your logic is alien one to me.

Let me ask you this Alien. Would you work for free? Are you willing to go to your boss and tell him you no longer want to be paid for your work?

When you buy a clone made from stolen designs that's pretty much what your forcing on the original designer. He/she makes nothing for the work they did. Also by purchasing that clone you are tacitly supporting and condoning theft.

That is why a lot of us refuse to buy clones (counterfeits) regardless of how good that clone may be. We believe the designer should get paid for what they did.
