Let me ask you this alien. Would you work for free? Are you willing to go to your boss and tell him you no longer want to be paid for your work?

When you buy a clone made from stolen designs that's pretty much what your forcing on the original designer. He/she makes nothing for the work they did. Also by purchasing that clone you are tacitly supporting and condoning theft.

That is why a lot of us refuse to buy clones (counterfeits) regardless of how good that clone may be. We believe the designer should get paid for what they did.
While I agree with a lot of this, I just don't have $100 laying around to buy a tank. I'm not going to feel bad about buying a cloned, or styled piece of equipment. I absolutely love authentic quality in everything I use but sometimes I have to compromise and that's just the way it is.

Still looking for the vape experience that really satisfies the hubby. Right now he has a Toptank mini built at 1.5 with the airflow turned waaaaaay down and uses a restricted lung hit. I would love to get him a nautilus but I'm not really interested in buying tanks that require premade coils. I guess first off, is there a good rba option for the nautilus? Or, which RTAs have that similar hit style? Any other suggestions for restricted lung hitters would be greatly appreciated too. He's definitely a tootle puffer, and likes to stay under 20w.

Let's get this back on topic please :)

Everything that is not patented will be duplicated. You can do nothing with this. The companies like SvoeMesto decided to go with "artisans" business model, i.e. small series, very high prices. It's their decision. It's my decision do not support such model. You should be grateful people do buy clones, otherwise demand for a very limited supply will be sky high, and prices also. Thanks to "counterfeits" people can buy vaping staff and quit smoking, and I am supporting them.

Please don't get my thread closed guys  Let's all just do what works for us and debate clone vs authentic somewhere else. I'd like to be able to come back here and update in a million weeks when my Fasttech order gets here and the hubby has a chance to try it out.

Completely understandable and that's why fighting for the options we have available is so important. There options to fit every budget and some really good ones on the cheaper end.

I said my piece on the subject so no need to add more.

Another tank you might try is the Eleaf Lemo. It's similar to a kayfun lite and , if they have any left, Planet of the Vapes here in Cali, had them on clearance for like $5.

Yes, keep this thread open, I would love to hear about MthompLmt's husband opinion.
My conclusion is that the Kayfuns (clone or not) have been seriously recommended and that makes me happy as I really like mine.

I read all the way through this thread because I have a brother who loves his N mini. I'd like him to be rebuilding but can't find an rta to replace the N mini. I'm also thankful i only use one simple rda that works great everywhere and is dirt cheap. I have my life time supply of them and not looking back.

As far as clones vs originals, I manufactured products in my own facility, of my own design and did well with that. There were never any patents involved with the stuff that made the money. To keep my customers the stratagy was to be first to market with excellent design, quality and fair value for the money. I prospered. I didn't launch some products because I knew they could be knocked off to easily. I didn't worry about copy cats because they couldn't undercut my prices enough to be attractive. But if i was charging 10x more than copy cat competitors i would have expected to be out of business in short order. The people charging 10 times more for their stuff are serving a luxury market. Most of us don't participate. When i was the market leader i didn't resent the copy cats. Now that i'm the consumer i feel the same as I did back then.

I am MTL-restricted DL vaper. I feel Kayfun 3 is too tight for me. Kayfun 5 is what I mostly use. And so easy to rebuild...
Even adjusting it more open? You must be on the outer edge of a mtl vapor heading more towards DL . I would bet more mtl vapors would feel like the km3 is to open rather then to tight.

 Funny that you say that, as I sit here vaping one right now. Already got 2 of them, as they were coming from just a zip code or two away they arrived next day, the KFM v3 and V5 mini were coming from FT so they took/are taking just a little bit longer. That order was my first evidence that this kayfun idea just might really work. The machining on them isn't the greatest but, hey, $2 right?

How? Little crunchy on the threads or machining like thing don't fit or what? I've had some really good results from clones but I just bought them recently.. they have come along way in the past year. I think that these are definitely older ones but I took the chance 2 tanks $4 total.

Not the smoothest threads, and not the best stainless steel. No big deal. I got a quick and inexpensive look at what KF styled tanks can do for us and I was pleased. The machining and stainless steel on the $12 ft KFM v3 is much, much nicer. Wish I had ordered two! It's ok though, my V5 will be here Tuesday.

Here is a good look at the KF5 org. vs the SMJY KF5 (you can buy it at 3fvape) $24
After this review I bought the SMJY clone...a perfect 1:1... I bought the original SM air reducer kit to go with it. It was my first KF experience, now my favorite tank... It was the tank that made me sell all my sub ohm tanks and get back into MTL Vaping...I am about to buy the original SvoeMesto KF lite plus due to the fact that I don't know how long they will be around, then I will focus on the org. KF5 next...
