Hi all,

The time is fast approaching for me to call it a day on the old fashioned cigs and I have started researching into the e-cigs. I have been browsing the FAQs and checking out various suppliers and I think this might be the method to help me give up for good.

Anyway, what concerns me the most now is a bit of information that I have come across that took me by surprise is that in Belgium(where I live) that the product seems to be banned.
I have looked at a couple of web sites and articles from various years but I haven't seen anything specifically clear. Some say "banned for sale" and others just say "banned". I guess banned is pretty clear but to what extent?

Is it illegal to be in possession of an e-cig in Belgium or can I order them in from across the border?
Do companies even ship to Belgium and to what sort of extent is the law enforced?

It all seems a bit strange to me, just when I thought I was on the right path to improving not only my health but those around me too and narrowing my choices down I get dealt this kick to the guts.

Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction and give a bit of clarification please?

Cheers in advance.

There are a few Belgium people here but many have left the forum. I don't believe the actual possession is illegal- just the sale...I steered a Belgium person a few days ago to a vendor and they did receive their kit and juice. After 5 posts wait 1 hr and I will pm you the info.

But what are the chances of it getting through customs, I mean do they allow it or if found will it be confiscated?
I also wonder what that would mean to using these in public places as well.

Well G'day ta ya!
Actually, as long as you're within the EU you won't have issue with Customs, there are some Spanish Online Stores that have free shipping to Europe, and a few German stores too.
Only very Few UK Suppliers offer Free Postage to Europe, the cost can be steep.
If you already know what you're after it's not that difficult to find the best price.
Best of Luck.:)

Yeah it shouldn't be a problem with customs but I don't really know what practice the local post office has, it seems they rifle through half of my packages I order sometimes.
But if there have been other Belgians who recieve their's without issue then that's a good sign.

I'm not certain yet on exactly what I want but like you say once I have it decided then it should be an easy enough choice.
I know what I don't want so that's a reasonable start.

Ok, I have a couple more questions that have probably been asked a million times before.
If I buy a starter kit, apart from the liquid what bits will I need to get more of?

I'm a nearly two pack a day guy and if I get the kit but then need a replacement part the fact I just can't go and pick it up will irritate me.
So are there any parts that I should double up on or even more so I can get a good couple of months in without having to make another order?

but you don't want to be without for lack of poor planning.
This is the way I feel but I'm unsure on exactly what will be needed to plan for.
For example one kit I was looking at has this aside from batteries and usb chargers etc...

1 Tube Tank setup with one 1.5 ohm cartomizer and plastic drip tip
5 Refill 1.5 ohm cartomizers
1 15ml Bottle of Liquid
1 Tube sock

Now I know I'll need more liquid than that, maybe 50-100mm for starters and will probably get a couple more drip tips(not plastic) but what is the difference between a 3.0 ohm single coil tube tank to a 1.5 ohm dual?
There not overly pricey so I could probably get 2 or 3 more for starters but am I likely to need more than that?
Same goes for the refill pack of 5 carts.

Is there anything else that I am likely to need or want?
Sorry for the questions.

There's not enough juice. To be safe around 30 ml per week is safe. As for the 1.5 cartos unless you're getting a 3.7 volt Ecig you may not be able to use those...it depends on the PV you're thinking of buying so first select the PV and next the accessories. 2.0 ohms and under is known as low resistance and can be hard on some batteries. Also make sure the cartos are single coil.
You'll also need an atomizer to test new juices- much easier to clean an atomizer rather than a cartomizer "if" the juice is horrible.

I realise I will need more juice, that was just whats in the starter pack I quoted from. I know I will need quite a bit of juice to be honest.
For example this was the kit I took the info from. Inferno Starter Kit
I think that seems fine as the kit but surely I'm going to need other/more parts on top of that, just what I'm not sure..

Also I know that model is pretty much a rebrand of another but I like the way it looks and they will do free shipping to Belgium, I can always find a juice supplier closer to home.

For example if on top of that kit would these sort of additions be appropriate.

- 1 Tube Tank - Refill Cartomizer
Atomizer Spec
1.5 ohm Dual Coil

- 1 Tube Tank
Tank Cap Finish
Black
Tank Size
7ML

- 1 INFERNO Low Resistance Atomizer

- 1 MAGMA Re-fillable MEGA-Clearomizer - 5 Pack

- 2 INFERNO - Atomizer Cones

Is this overkill or underkill?
I'm lead to believe that the Inferno is compatable with the other volcano. products

Info about the Mega Clearomizers:
"The Needle Tip Bottle Cap must be used if you want to fill these with eLiquid from a bottle. You cannot drip directly from a bottle into the clearomizer
* A Needle Tip Bottle Cap is not included"

I've never used them but remember vapers saying you needed to refill with a syringe. They also don't say what ohms they are- could be anywhere from 2.4- 3.0???

The PV is an Ego so it's compatible with all 510 accessories. It's really tough to research their products because everything has been renamed. Mega Clearos are Fluxomizors I think.
