Looking for somone to repair a provape

Hey Friends!

A good friend of mine dropped his provape (DOH!) and it broke He said it came apart but when he put it back together it no longer works. I didn't get a chance to see it, so thats about all I know. Does anyone know a good place where he could get it repaired? Thanks!

It was given to him for free via PIF but he is contacting them. He doesn't have much money and was hoping a modder would have an idea or something.

No one has even seen what he did to it, can you get some photos posted you might get a few ideas then. I dont think it covers droping it but they do have a life time guarantee. I would think droping it would crack a board inside the device, in which case sending it back to them would be the best bet

Kinda glad I chose the Buzz now. I think you could run this thing over with a tank and not hurt it. If you did Mike would probably fix it anyhow.

ya I just have no idea what happened to it. He said nothing looks cracked or anything but provape gave it to him for free as a charity type thing and so I wonder if they would warrenty something like that...

I'm really only interested in a cheap way to repair the PV not a debate on the usefulness and quality of provape...

From your other post it sounds like a cracked board. He sould e mail them you never know what they might do. Good Luck

Contact provape,even though you recieved it as a gift,they should do repairs for you fairly cheap.

Like Keyz said, Get in touch with Provape. They are the ones that built it and know it best!

Thats exactly what I was looking for warlike. I think he wants to go as cheap as possible and he said that the "replacement part" was $100 or something like that but I didn't really know what he meant. I just told him I'd ask for a repair shop or something like it on the forums. Have a great weekend all

Iam planning on sending a plain metal finish Xhaler to Repair Services & Custom Builds

We haven't decided on the paint scheme yet..may just let them surprise us....Drews too good to answer any e-mails...better off anyway.... I will keep ya all up to date and post some pics.

That sounds neat! Post some pics if you get it done! I agree with you about Drew... One of the only supplies that has never responded to any of my questions. Maybe he didn't like me asking what the difference was between his "amazing" drip-o-mizers and a BOGE cartomizer with a drip tip... Maybe, there isn't a difference

I asked him how much it would be to repair an Xhaler.......What REALLY stinks is they are releasing the Darwin through him...I will never buy. Will have to wait for one on classifieds.

I've dropped my Provape a few times. Sometimes I knock it off my desk by mistake. Still works perfectly. I wouldn't try and drop it off a 20 story building, but I think it is designed well enough to take a fall here and there. I've also ordered a Provari. I'm pretty sure if my Provape died from an accidental drop, David over at Provape would have no problems replacing it.

You're insinuating that Provape / Provari's are fragile, which they absolutely are not, infact they are extremely robust units.
