I currently have a Hana V4d (dna40) and a IPV D2.

I never really cared for the hana and temp vaping, but the dual batteries was great. Honestly, it kinda left a bad taste in my mouth regarding the evolv boards and felt like a waste of $200. So it pushed me to try a YIHI next. The D2 has been awesome for me, but a single battery barely lasts me from leaving in the morning to getting home. If I have to work overtime, im screwed. So I am looking for a new TC mod.

-I would like something that would hold 2x 18650's so I can run all day without fear of being powerless.
-I have been using nickel for all my temp builds. But have been thinking of giving Ti a shot. SS as an option would be cool, but not mandatory
-Being able to go down to .08 or .05 would be nice. Been doing a lot of .094 coils in my subtank lately.
-I do have a TFV4 sitting here with the extra quad coils I would *like* to give a shot.
-Since my last dna40 board didnt tickle my fancy, i would be more inclined to go with a yihi. but if a compelling argument can be made, i could entertain the idea of going back to Evolv
-Authentics only. I am not a fan of knock-offs.
-Im a baller on a budget, or atleast until tax return time when I get my w-2's mid next month. So I could wait a few more weeks to actually purchase.

For starters I recommend the KangerTech KBox 120 TC box MOD.

Economical and has all the features you've requested. I bought it strictly to try out their SS wire option and so far, for me it's the best one I've tried.
The SS317L coils I've built are around .45 - .54 ohms. For me these give the best vape with no issues.
The SS coils give a nice warm vape and lots of flavor too.
Also this MOD will do TC on NiCr coils too. Personally haven't yet tried that though, IMHO I think that SS coils are replacing most other coils. I do have some Ti wire and may try a coil or two.

There's also a 200 Watt model but if you're doing TC it will never need that high of a wattage, only in VW mode does it need it. When in VW mode going to 200 watts the chipset will revert to PWM (pulse width modulation) mode which makes the "rattlesnake" hissing sound.

The Cigabuy website has it for $34.26 plus shipping of around $5. About a 10-14 shipping time. I ordered mine on Jan. 8 and received it on Jan. 19
There's a coupon code 6OFFNOW that will knock the price down to $32.21

SPECS:
  • Temperature control range: 200 - 600°F
  • Temperature control function supporting the Nickel, Titanium, Stainless steel and Ni-chrome wire.
  • Variable Wattage:7-120W
  • Spring loaded 510 threading connector
  • Support 0.05 ohm coil
  • Temperature regulation of 1000 times per second makes the taste much softer.
  • 360kHz high speed synchronous DC-DC control mode, ultra low output ripple, maximum efficiency is more than 97%.
  • Smart identification and balancing battery charging, matching any model of adapter from 300mA to 2A, the maximum battery charging current is up to 1.8A.
  • PCB with unique serial number of global anti-counterfeiting, guarantee quality.
  • Ultra low quiescent current, under the state of quiescence much reduce stand by power dissipate.
  • Safety protection include: High temperature , reverse , short circuit , low voltage , battery charging and discharge protection of single cell.
  • Adopting large number of TI Infineon and other high stability performance chips from the United States.
  • With USB upgrade function.
  • Compatible with 2pcs 18650 batteries (battery not included)

If Dual-Batt is a must have, check out the Snow Wolf 200. I have the 75 mini TC (single 18650) and am very impressed. Imagine the SW 200 would be equally as capable.
Or, just go ALL-IN and get the new Yi-Hi boarded Vapor Flask. I read or saw somewhere on here that Yi-Hi is coming out with a new SX version that will be dual 18650.
*P.s. The Dual 18650 SX to come is the "Q-class".

I will check out the kanger, but I've never been a fan of their box designs.

Gonna give the cuboid and rx200 a look. Rx200 would mean buying some new matching sets of batteries though
i Have a Cuboid and its very nice, great paint job, good battery door, solid performer for a chip set

If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks, HCigar is releasing their dual 18650 DNA-200 device (DNA-133). I own the HCigar VT200 (Lipo) mod and I really like it. I am really eyeing their dual 18650 version. There are a couple other dual 18650 DNA-200's out there, but the one's I have seen are north of $200. I suspect this one will be much closer to the $100 range.

+1 for the cuboid. I also have the D2 and am very happy with it. But wanted a dual battery mod that also did stainless steel. Cuboid is a great mod and really compact for a dual battery mod.

An alternative would be the IPV5 but I don't think it's out yet. Looks like a larger D2 with dual batteries. Does SS/Ni/Ti and is firmware upgradable.

I'm not a fan of the DNA200 devices, I've had 2 so far, returned the vaporshark due to a fault. Still have the reuleux but prefer using the cuboid.

I was thinking of getting the IPV3 Li, and i came across the ipv5. The price and features had me sold, but then I decided to skip it. I have a gut feeling its going to have a bunch of issues and i didnt want to be a guinea pig for IPV. Only reason i got a D2 was it was out awhile, and reviews were good. ipv3 and ipv4 both had problems, and wasnt until their later versions were they (mostly) solid performers. Im thinking the first one will be a flop, ipv5s would be better.

Consider the ijoy asolo 200w.
You get first generation tc like other tc mods requiring those low ohm wire types plus you get the next generation of tc using kanthal or other higher ohm wire types.

Right behind you...
If you liked the D2's form factor but want more battery life, you'll probably be pleased with the single 26650 VF Stout (which you can still run with an 18650 if you choose). A hair taller than the D2/D3, wider at the back but that just makes it more comfortable to grip, the swing-out battery door is a joy to use, supports Ni/Ti/SS and custom TCR, has upgradeable firmware, enough power to run your TFV4 farily well, and the build quality is solid considering the price. It's actually a Joyetech board inside, from the same well-regarded family as the VTC Mini, Cuboid and the RX200.

And of course, with a good 26650 inside, battery life is considerably better than the D2, even if the D2 has a 3000mAh cell. If you can almost get through the day with a D2, you should be safe into overtime with the Stout.

Downside, it's pricey, twice the cost of a Cuboid or RX200 from a Chinese Vendor, but it does come with excellent US-based customer service and warranty support.

But if you want more power and more battery life and a lot of bang for the buck and don't mind some heft and girth, it's hard to beat the Cuboid.
