Ok, so I have been vaping for a while. Ran into some difficult times and relapsed w/ the analogs. Since then, been kinda going back and forth between analogs and e-cigs. Getting a lot of help in the "still smoking" thread. However, a recurring theme for me is "coming around full circle." That is, going back to the methods and mindsets you are in when you first get into vaping.

So then I thought, why don't I get a good cigalike w/ some either hi-nic or wta juice for when I crave a cig?

I still have my old Blu and Halo G6, but didn't know if there were ant more advanced cigalikes out there. I know of the eRoll, but I don't like the idea of a .4ml tank.
Also still have eGos but looking for that analog feel.

Just didn't know if there were any other options out there.

EXACTLY why I still have cigalikes and high nic tobacco flavors. A lot of people here will suggest the Joyetech eRoll, but for dependability, ease of use, and customer service, you can't beat the Volt 808 battery by Smokeless Image. The owner maintains her own sub-forum in the Vendors page. Good people, good device.

eRoll and G6 are still the best options. You can carry extra juice in an Innokin U-Can.

Or, you can do what I did - get some 400mAh eGo-C 'shorties', and use them with Kanger T2s or Mega Dual Coil XL cartomizers. Small, portable, you can carry extra batteries in a small case, and extra juice in the U-Can.

Another option for you might be the new Joyetech eGrip:

Not a cig-a-like, but a small, portable box mod.

The fact that you're still smoking analogs tells me that your juice nicotine concentration is too weak. I smoked 2 packs/day of Marlboro Reds (and filterless Lucky Strikes, before that), yet I quit cold-turkey with the eRoll, and haven't relapsed since I began vaping 14 months ago.

I'm convinced that the reason I avoided relapsing was starting out with 24mg nicotine in my liquid. I'm now in the process of migrating downwards to 18mg, after more than a year at 24mg.

So, look at your nicotine concentration and consider increasing it, if you aren't already at 24mg.

No reason to laugh, whatever might work is worth a try!

I've done a lot of research on this over the past couple weeks. I'm new to all of this and even after getting some e-go styles (Spinner, Triton, etc) I am still looking for a cigalike that I can just throw in my purse for short trips the store or whatever. I've read really good things about V2, as ProjektMayhem mentioned above. Seems to be one of the best ones going right now.

I ended up getting a G6 kit just because I already have a Triton setup and the tanks and cartos are interchangeable. But I don't think you'll go wrong with either.

Good luck!

I started with Volt Cigalike batteries and refilling blank cartos. Then I moved unto Volt X2 VV Batteries. I would recommend getting manual batteries as opposed to automatic as the manuals even in a cigalike battery have more Kick. Anything larger then a cigalike or Stick battery I would go with EGO Threaded as there are a lot more options for the batteries and toppers

Laugh at what?

Still love my Green Smoke cigalikes from the Ultimate Kit I bought a year ago.
Battery life is very good.
Some grocery store/retailers even carry the cartos if you run out.
(A little bird told me that you can also pop the caps on them and refill them)

Regular Tobacco flavors (Absolute,Red Label, and (especially) Tobacco Gold are very good flavors.
And their Mocha flavor is still the best mocha I've ever tasted.

Don't know if their quality has gone down since Altria purchased them but I they sure have a TON of promos since it happened.

You might want to consider the WTA for occational use. It has helped me during stressful times. I started on 24 mg when I first started vaping and was able to drop to 18 within weeks. I hover between 12 and 6 mg now.

Watch the reviews on the Mig Cigs 21 kit... With their 4.2 constant voltage potential and the awesomeness of their battery it has the potentail 2 be awesome... also if your just looking for a small unit 2 vape on new e leaf I stick is a 20 w box mod with Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage... Paired with a Nautalis Mini or Aerotank Mini that'd be an awesome setup also

I puffed on the volt cigalike, mainly just because it was gave to me for free. So of course I tried it, and it had the grossest, nastiest taste EVER!!! It was the menthol kind, and I was a menthol smoker. I've since then quit smoking analogs, but at the time I tried the volt I was still smoking! Anyway, taste is subjective as they say but I sware that was the worst tasting ecig or cigalike I've ever tried, and I've tried quite a few! Just my two cents....

2 years ago, befeore I ever heard of PV units, I tried using various cigalikes. The best I could say of any of them was, a few din't taste horrible, and the best of them allowed me to put off smoking for a few hours. Recap: Flavors sucked, vapor production sucked, utility as a stop smoking method sucked.

So recently, just to see how things have progressed, and to see what would be available should the full force of draconian laws slam down, I purchased RJR's The Vuse.

I have to say, the flavor is better, ... it tastes more like tobacco than just about anything I have tried to this day. I wonder what else they have put into it as well, because it seemed to give me a better calm than any of my nicotine containing eliquids.

After I had used it a couple of days, I started to want a cigarette really bad. Haven't touched it again since.
