Like the title says I am looking into the Atmizoo Roller. I currently run an eVic and I just am not feeling satisfied. I love the look of the Roller in matte, the button feel, and the telescopic feature. I just don't know that much about mechanicals so my friends are recommending the Gus and the Chi You. Please any recommendations, reviews, compare and contrast especially would be helpful. Just got paid and want to get one already!

The roller is phenomenal.
Fit, finish, etc are all great.
What are you going to put on top?

All I have right now is the Smoktech Octopus rda and an AGA T2 (still working on learning how to rebuild this tho). Will probably just get some good attys with a drip shield as my primary.

What specifically sets it apart from the other mech mods? I know they are basically all the same components but is it worth the $175 pricetag compared to a Bolt for $30?

I have a Roller custom...it's purdy. Bolt not so much, I assume the bolt has wires to and it plastic or something.

The Bolt is not mechanical. It's simply a big battery mod... And one with remarkably thin wires at that.

It's great to have around as a backup... But isn't even in the same league as high end Mechanicals like the roller.

Sent from the ether using the power of my mind... and the Tapatalk app.

The newer Bolts have much larger wires than the early ones. I bought one at Christmas time and saw a thread about re-wiring them and the wires on mine are at least double the size I saw in the thread. I still would not put in the same class as the high end mechs. I don't have a true mech yet but have an Atmizoo Dingo on order.

The main thing that sets mech mods apart from one another is their internal resistance. Unfortunately, not many manufacturers list this in the description, which is why I will save my big funds until they catch up and start doing that. Aside from that, it's all about versatility, material, the switches, and looks. The whole reason for having a mech is to simplify the circuit for the least resistance, and the only one I'm aware of that boasts it's resistance is the poldiac.

O...well I feel dumb haha I always thought it was mechanical. Thanks for the clarification.

I wanna thank everybody for the very informative and interesting answers. I decided that while I love the look of the Atmizoo Roller I wanted to hold off on getting it for now. Instead I decided to go with the K100 telescopic mod (Empire Mod clone) in metallic blue. I love the look of it and the bottom button looks great. May consider getting the roller in the future if I am not satisfied with the K100. Anybody have any opinions/experience with the K100?

No experience with it but I thought it looked pretty cool. For the price it looks like a good way into mechs, not much reason to scrutinize a Chinese mech mod in that category. It probably isn't going to match up performance wise with something made of quality meterial, but it doesn't take a $200 pipe mod to fire an atty and make vapor. As a matter of fact, my current daily mod is a Chinese mech with sub par conductivity (before modification), it does the job fine while I wait for the cards to fall in place and something I'm more comfortable blowing two bills on becomes available and stays in stock long enough for me to grab one. I almost pulled the trigger on a dingo but it really wasn't everything I wanted to spend that kind of money on. Looking at the ELA now but will probably wait for the feedback after release.

Kudos to you on the purchase. I am positive you will get great vapes from the K100. IMO "highend" devices are absolutely overpriced anyway. That's a different topic so I will restrain myself :)

When you do decide to get a more... Shall we say, luxurious? mod. Atmizoo is great. I just picked up a Dingo for my better half ( I keep the Poldiacs for myself ;) ) and I am impressed/jealous. I might get another Dingo just for me!

The size of the Dingo is remarkable. I haven't Vdropped it but it hits proper when compared to Poldiac and Paps Lux. Dingo with a dripper = super-pocket-friendly-stealth & top notch performance.

Post some pics when you get the K100 up and vaping.

The ELA has already been released. The proud owners (few though they may) are singing it's praises over in the Super-T forum. There's a guy on ECF, goes by Trick i believe who wrote a review linked in the ELA thread as well. I don't have mine yet, but from what I have read from others it meets every expectation to a T. There aren't many left for the pre-order and it will be a good while before they make more says David of Super-T. Just a heads up though, if you do order 1, be prepared to wait a LONG time! I ordered mine mid february and last I heard they were still about 50 order #'s away from prepping mine.

EDIT: I just realized I was responding to a post that was almost 4 months old. lol

4 months, no worries. It's a new release so it's time for people to start talking about it. At the end of the day, I wanted something simpler, cheaper, and available, so I ended up with a PAPS 2.1. Price, simplicity and button sensitivity were the main reasons I bought it. Incidentally, I sold my old Precise because I couldn't get along with the switch skirt that Dave uses to allow them to stand on end, and I'm glad I grabbed one of the last PAPS before Perseas too added this annoying little feature to his switch in v2.5. I don't need it, personally, I have no problem locking it and have a lock ring that flies open or shut in one flick.
